I bought this camera because I would like to monitor the courtyard. I should note that this is my own property and the camera does not record public areas. That is not allowed as far as I know. It can distinguish between people and animals, takes very good pictures even at night and lets me know on my cell phone. The installation is simple and quick. For me, the sim card was already in the camera. Download the app and make personal settings - done. As far as I can tell, solidly made and wireless. I still hoped to be able to observe animals, but it does not hit there. It should not. So I am completely satisfied with it.

One thing to note: the little feet on the bottom will unscrew so when you are tightening and loosening the extending legs you may accidently loosen the feet so just keep an eye on them. They do have spare feet in their store if you lose one. Ask me how I know

just love this camera feeder. Sure, it goes offline every now and then, but it usually works again if you exit the app, wait a bit, and then go back in. People need to realize that this depends on your network. Also keep in mind that not all WiFi-enabled devices always work 100% perfectly. Overall it works, great pictures and videos and I can see my feathered friends whenever I want. I just love it. Make sure to change your notification settings: Select Me, Message Center, Gear Icon, System Notification, and Non-Recurring at the bottom to choose how much time should elapse between notifications (last image). Otherwise, all notifications will drain your phone battery

Now to the adapter: It's just an adapter that allows you to attach the lenses to the Samsung (NX Mount). No electronic data is passed on to the camera or the lens! Which is also correct, since nothing else is advertised either. Workmanship: The entire adapter is made of metal and makes a stable impression. The EF / EF-S lenses are very tight and don't wobble. The mount for the Samsung bayonet has a very small scope that can be safely ignored. Detaching the lenses works without the lens getting stuck anywhere. Application: Since no electronic data is exchanged, focusing is done manually. The focus help on the Samsung camera is activated with the OK button (Samsung NX300M), a small image section is enlarged and the "sharp edges" are displayed using the focus peak. The aperture is either always the open aperture or you set it beforehand on the Canon camera (choose aperture, press aperture preview button, remove lens) A somewhat cumbersome way. It's definitely more fun with completely manual lenses like those from Samyang or Walimex. But if you are comfortable with working with an aperture, you can have a lot of fun. Tested lenses: EF-S 18-55mm IS II <- OK EF-S 55-250mm IS II <- OK EF 50mm f/1.8 II <- OK EF-S 10-18mm STM <- Doesn't work because manual focus only works with an electrical voltage Conclusion: The adapter does what it promises. originally bought another adapter to attach a cannon lens to my Samsung camera but it didn't fit. So I tried this one and it fits perfectly and snaps in place easily. It's not electronically powered, so you'll have to shoot manually, which isn't a problem once you're used to it. This is great for being able to expand the lenses for Samsung cameras as they are limited in choices and sometimes a lot more expensive than looking for a used gun lens. I have not used this item extensively as the gun lens I bought is an old 300mm lens and I currently prefer a different lens. Hopefully in the future I can find a gun lens I like and be able to use this adapter again.
