This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

We got this so we could check for a suspected raccoon in our roof. We could hear scratching noises and thought perhaps that was what we were hearing. We were able to see right where the stinking critter was hiding with this camera. I’m impressed! And I called a pest control company right away.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. I used for insurance roof inspections, and it worked great, even fully extended.

Not much to say other than I'm very happy with it.

I've accidentally found things I wasn't even looking for!

I found a roof leak by mistake.
When I looked around for poor insulation one day, I checked another day after it rained and happened to see a very small blue dot on the ceiling which disappeared the next day--it was a water leak in the roof.

I found a dysfunctional AC power outlet which was, for some reason, beaming out heat when it wasn't in use.

I've found that heat on my electronics don't radiate where I thought, so I've moved the small cooling fans to more effective places.

The depth of view is incredible. I can see the roof supports through the plaster board in my ceiling! This little unit has that name brand thermo camera beat hands down!

It seems sturdy enough, though I had to adapt my coop a bit - add some wood to move this out a little way so it would miss the roof. A bit more narrow than my other automatic door. The anti-pinch function works, it'll stop like a garage door and reopen if it encounters too much resistance. It will try again about a minute later.

My main problem - why put the USB charge port in the way of the door opening? Wouldn't along the side have been better?

Easy to install. It is under a metal roof out of the weather, so do not know how weatherproof it is. The control panel is easy to understand and easy to properly set. Currently using time of day for opening and closing the door. Have not yet tried to open and shut the door using daylight or darkness settings,,,
Definitely worth the money compared to the other options.
