Hello everyone, since there are no reviews yet I thought I'd write one. The adapter arrived 4 days ago and was even faster than stated. So that's a plus point. Now to the adapter: It's just an adapter that allows you to attach the lenses to the Samsung (NX Mount). No electronic data is passed on to the camera or the lens! Which is also correct, since nothing else is advertised either. Workmanship: The entire adapter is made of metal and makes a stable impression. The EF / EF-S lenses are very tight and don't wobble. The mount for the Samsung bayonet has a very small scope that can be safely ignored. Detaching the lenses works without the lens getting stuck anywhere. Application: Since no electronic data is exchanged, focusing is done manually. The focus help on the Samsung camera is activated with the OK button (Samsung NX300M), a small image section is enlarged and the "sharp edges" are displayed using the focus peak. The aperture is either always the open aperture or you set it beforehand on the Canon camera (choose aperture, press aperture preview button, remove lens) A somewhat cumbersome way. It's definitely more fun with completely manual lenses like those from Samyang or Walimex. But if you are comfortable with working with an aperture, you can have a lot of fun. Tested lenses: EF-S 18-55mm IS II <- OK EF-S 55-250mm IS II <- OK EF 50mm f/1.8 II <- OK EF-S 10-18mm STM <- Doesn't work because manual focus only works with an electrical voltage Conclusion: The adapter does what it promises. You can't expect much for 17 euros. I will definitely use it more often. If you can overlook the hurdles (aperture, focus), this adapter is definitely recommended. use the lens on my Canon 5d II full format camera - I am very satisfied with the imaging performance. Of course there is vignetting with an open aperture of 2.8 - but you hardly take pictures with it anyway. There are certainly better lenses - but you have to put down at least twice as much and therefore I can only recommend the lens to everyone who wants to use it from time to time. Anyone who needs a UWW professionally should take a look at the 11 or 15 mm from IRIX.

Everything in sight, except lenses and membrane blades is plastic, including the mount. There's no five-axis stabilization in the Sony FE Series II, as the lens doesn't report focus distance. As such, you'll need to be prepared for three-axis stabilization when entering focus into the camera's SteadyShot options. Great buy for this price. A vintage manual can be four or five times cheaper if you don't need AF, but forget about the same color and performance. Those aspheric lenses aren't there for nothing, nor does the optical design have anything to do with the ones from a few years ago, that the rear lens is larger than the front for some reason... It's one thing when you're fed up with it, to see high-resolution samples, and another to get them directly. It's hard to go wrong with that goal.
