It is voice activated.

Our first time using it was recording an outdoor concert. We mounted the recording device on the metal support beam for the veranda. It had no issues recording the entire time. It filtered out out side noise from the park. My husband really likes this device. We would recommend this to anyone looking for good quality recording

It has helped me many times to speak to clients who speak different languages. Its translation performance is impressive, and it delivers near-instant results whether you're using it to translate live conversations or written text with the included camera.
It also allows me to see how people in other countries speak, I can say a phrase into the device in English and see how the same phrase is spoken in a different language. Repeating this step enough times may enhance memory.
