wanted a filter holder with these characteristics and an ND filter to start my Pinitos in long exposure photography. I chose this brand as I usually like what it offers (and quite tight especially for the price it offers) A sturdy metal filter holder with safety release to be placed on adapters and a filter ND 1000 that is perfect, to take such photos with light. Presentation and packaging with which they are delivered, the filter, as you can see in the photos, comes with a synthetic leather case with a soft velvety interior, so that the glass and the filter holder do not suffer any damage, although it is presented in the box without its case becomes. It's a filter holder for 100x100 and I think it's great, both in terms of quality and price, to start with this type of photo without having to invest too much. I know that for the picture to be good you need to invest in crystals of this type to get a sharp picture, but unless you're sure you want to spend that much (like me, that's a whim, it to try) seems the best to me.

This is one of a current batch of Chinese-made tripods that all seem to have the same features and basic construction but are sold by different brands on Amazon and elsewhere. When searching for "best inexpensive tripod" on YouTube or elsewhere, you're likely to see these come up repeatedly in top 5 lists or even just on their own, in videos titled things like "the only tripod you'll ever need" or similar. I'm looking at my "customers also viewed" list just below the text box I'm typing this in and there are several more of these nearly identical tripods listed right there, from brands like Smallrig, Neewer, etc.

I didn't quite realize this before buying this tripod, and the "western" sounding brand name made me think this might be the "original" anyway that others were copying. I admit I liked the color accents too. But the very poorly translated instructions (available in both English and Chinese) make it clear that this is just a low budget Chinese product like probably all of them are.

So, generic rebranded Aliexpress product or not, that doesn't mean it's a bad tripod. It's not a bad tripod. It is absolutely not "the only tripod you'll ever need", but it would make a decent travel tripod. It's fairly light and easy to set up, and it seems relatively stable once it's set up. It would honestly blow away in a stiff wind, it's that light, though. And it would clearly wobble, especially because it has no center brace. I was replacing a cheap "Polaroid" tripod (from the not-really Polaroid that currently exists) that actually cost less than this but had thicker metal legs and a center brace - that thing was not going anywhere once it was set up, nor did it wobble at all unless you extended the center column. The problem with that Polaroid is that it didn't have a ball head, and the plastic crank for the center column also broke. This tripod doesn't have a crank like that; you just unscrew the retaining nut on the center column and then pull it up, then screw it back in place.

There is actually a hook on the bottom of the tripod where you can attach a sandbag if you want for better stability, but it's weirdly off-center so it would never be pulling straight down. It probably would work well enough, though.

I do like the ball head and the pan function is nicely dampened - that's going to help a lot in video shoots. The bubble level is borderline useless, though. It will show level when the head is at about a 30 degree angle. The bubble in the level is just so small and moves so little that it's impossible to judge where it really is in the circle unless you are looking literally straight down on it. That's very hard to do if you've got the camera set at eye height. So plan on some other way to judge level. Maybe bring your own little spirit level.

To tighten the ball head there are a couple of screws with plastic nuts on the end. You get an Allen wrench that I guess is meant to tighten the main one onto the screw (it's the only thing it fits into that I can find), but even with the nut fully tightened onto the screw, it flops around a bit. Works fine, but just doesn't feel solid. I am not sure if this is how it's supposed to be or not - it does feel like it's going to break or just fall off, but there's no more tightening that I can do to it. The head itself tightens fine; it's just that plastic nut, but if that breaks or comes off, then there's no way to tighten the head itself.

As a travel tripod, I think this is a pretty good option for the price. If you're a serious photographer or videographer with a heavier camera, I definitely would get a heavier tripod. And if you are going out in the wild, especially in rough weather, make sure you bring a sandbag.

I consider a CPL a "just in case" type filter, so I usually keep one in my bag but rarely use it. I think I like the reflections in a lot of cases, especially street photography. Maybe if I did more nature photography I would feel differently, so the fact that it has a magnetic ring is just perfect, so I can just put it on when I need it. It doesn't seem to like a lens cap, but I don't really use them either since I have a decent UV filter on there all the time and occasionally shoot with a lens hood. I use that on my 24-105mm S on my S5IIX. When I have that stacked on top of a UV filter I still don't see any vignette at the wide end, which is what I was hoping for.

I purchased this after reading the reviews and also because I needed a long camera flex scope. I had to travel to CT from NC to survey a trimaran that was interested in purchasing and did indeed purchase. I specifically needed to inspect the stainless chainplates that secure the mast shrouds. This was a racing rig and this securement is super critical and needs to be well inspected. Of course they were inaccessible expect in one had a camera endoscope type device, which I did. I hadn't even tested the Tesslong out before the flight but I did charge it up. I was super simple to use. The cable is indexed for proper orientation. Attach and turn it on and put it to work ! Super clear images well lit also ! I high recommend for any type of mechanical inspection. You will need a micro sd adapter card for a few dollars to view your saved photos on a computer. Plastic instrument doesn't seem to be made of high impact plastic or rubber coated plastic so I would handle it with care. The case is high impact plastic and the instrument is well protected in the case. Battery life seemed well within what I need for the days work.

had another camera bag that I bought for about thirty euros, the same type, but it was torn and worn out very quickly. And honestly it's a bit more expensive but the quality is really good. It is very easy to clean. The bottom of the bag is made of a rubber membrane so it won't get dirty or damaged when placed on the ground (this is the first time I've seen this). It's pretty practical, well thought out. But above all, it looks good. I was made aware of this. The only downside is the closure with the straps. You need to release them with a metal clip before opening the zipper. It takes two steps to get anything in. But you can still walk on the side, you get used to it.

The other product doesn't have a tripod stand and the camera mount didn't fit, so I bought this one. This product also comes with a tripod and fits the camera mount. It is noteworthy that the distance button on the lens side was designed as a slide button. According to other people's reviews, it looked like a push button, but it was a sliding type. What I received wasn't like a push button, it was a sliding type that was easy to understand. I'm pleased that it's easy to use and seems to have been changed.
