In night vision mode you can easily see more...
three modes are offered here: an infrared mode, a color mode and an alarm mode.

► Brand manufacturers are making it increasingly difficult for other camera manufacturers to establish themselves successfully. In order to be able to counter this, the scope of services and the price must be right.
Can you expect a good outdoor-capable camera for currently around €160, which instead of Full HD (1,080p) offers 2K, a light with infrared and alarm, two-way audio and a horizontal rotation range of 355° and 120° vertically ? Yes, you can, because I haven't found any real vulnerabilities so far. So if you can do without 4K, you can buy a good device at an attractive price, which tends to cost more from other manufacturers and also offers flawless workmanship and good optics.

►► In short: attractive appearance, flawless workmanship, power connection required(!), sharp photos/videos, spotlight, two-way audio and with direct recording option (micro SD card), optional cloud storage, thanks to the motor. Control 360° monitoring possible. This ensures good comfort overall.

► There are many good reasons for a camera surveillance system, which is why I have been using various cameras indoors and outdoors for years. The K&F surveillance camera is specially designed for outdoors. My previous cameras are used to monitor pets, but of course I also want to know what happens in my/our absence. For many parents in the home, this is certainly a key reason to buy a surveillance camera. I really don't want to think about burglars here...

► Installation: The instructions are very helpful and should be able to fix any problems. Within this, the connection of the camera succeeds quite quickly and you can then get started immediately. Here you can set a few things and call up recordings.

First you have to agree to the terms of use and data protection guidelines in the German-language app and then register (e-mail, password). After this procedure you also have access to the data in the camera (card) and other settings ("Settings"). You also have access to your camera on the go. You are guided within the well-structured and so far stable app, so that the cameras can then be called up separately. On a smartphone/tablet, the whole thing with images/videos looks pretty decent, although you can make appropriate changes to the settings. Fiddle around a bit to try some things, e.g. B. when creating scenes, routines / schedules, within which the camera should be "sharp", or when the light should be switched on.

► What the cameras can do - Requirements for good reception
Based on my previous experiences with other cameras of this or a similar type, I was not disappointed here either, although I prefer operation via LAN cable, at least indoors, for fundamental reasons.

The respective image from the surveillance camera is detailed and sharp during the day. If you zoom in (digitally), this is more or less at the expense of the sharpness, despite 2K, because there is no optical zoom. In night vision mode and tending to low light and in the dark, the image is still satisfactory and not faint and blurry. Then black and white without light, but ok
If, on the other hand, the spotlight is activated, you have color and more details even in the dark. This is a certain added value and may also serve as a deterrent, whereby the infrared mode detects movements and then activates the light, while the alarm mode lives up to its name... ;-) The area to be monitored regularly should be narrowed down as precisely as possible in
advance , so that the camera despite motor. Control does not need to be panned in the main viewing area. Not to forget the important remote access: this worked quite well in the test, as long as you are not stuck in a dead spot, you will (hopefully) be notified in good time if something happens.

► A battery was not installed here, which limits the flexibility in a certain way. A protected (!) power connection (possibly with an extension cable) must therefore be available. But this also has the advantage that the camera can be used more frequently without the battery (with or without solar) dying too quickly... ►

What else is important? You have to do without an optical zoom here. However, that is not to be expected in this price range and is also not standard. But there is also a solid two-way audio (intercom function). All in all, a nice performance package.

► Keyword data/theft: If the camera accidentally falls into the wrong hands, the data recorded on the micro SD card will fall into the wrong hands. An occasional data backup (PC or similar) can't do any harm anyway, although the question is what third parties want to do with the recordings... (unless thieves break in and cover up tracks...). The cloud service is therefore not absolutely necessary here.

►►► Conclusion: Overall, the camera makes a good impression in terms of equipment and also visually. Ensure the best possible reception, because there are many sources of interference lurking in the 2.4 GHz network, which can have an unfavorable effect. If that works, you get a smooth, sharp picture during the day, with a limited wide angle, but also motor. Steering. The resolution in the dark is also good using the spotlight, although a number of details can also be made out at a distance in addition to the color view.

Note: Alarms ("warning notifications") via motion detection/sounds are possible, ok for my purposes and therefore usable. Remote access also works, which means extra security on the go. Nevertheless, if there are any problems (too many/too few alarms), you should generally tinker a little and avoid moving backgrounds or background noise as much as possible.

Despite the lack of long-term experience, there are also four stars from a price point of view because I like the scope of services.

Inexpensive surveillance camera with very good features
Inexpensive surveillance camera with very good features. It has a good clear picture with the resolution of 2K. The camera tracks you automatically and has an almost complete all-around field of view.

Standard with it are things like push up notification on motion, 2-way audio, night vision with infrared and LED spot light (e.g. as a deterrent). There is also an SD card slot up to 128 GB. You can also, as with many, use an online service or online cloud - but that costs money. How much, I do not know, since we never use something like that.

pure enthusiasm. Now I've become a fan of a K&F Concept surveillance camera after all......
Actually, I am a person who values privacy and is against surveillance. But now I got the opportunity to test one of the so-called PTZ surveillance cameras and that ultimately convinced me of the technology and its advantages when used in accordance with the law. The outdoor surveillance camera from "K&F Concept" offers a self-sufficient energy supply through the solar panel included in the accessories, which can supply it with sufficient energy. Setting up the camera in the 2.4GHz WLAN is absolutely uncomplicated and child's play for laypeople thanks to the German-language step-by-step instructions. The setup phase was definitely a good amount of time shorter than installing the camera outdoors. Once you have found the space for this great technological achievement, the camera is mounted first. The drilling templates for the camera and the solar panel make it easy to mount them in the intended place. The solar panel has a sufficiently long cable to place it in a place with the maximum amount of sunlight to achieve the greatest possible energy yield. Once this work is completed, the full functionality of this PTZ camera can be used. I had a lot of fun testing the PTZ function in all its variations. The possibilities of this rotating and tilting technology (English - Shift & Tilt) is absolutely awesome. You are tempted to break out of the legal framework and search wildly through the area with the camera and have the entire area in view, which is not allowed. So, in accordance with the law, the camera is only aimed at your own property.
Now you can activate the options, such as automatic warning messages, and if there is activity in the camera's field of view, you will immediately receive a pop-up message with a preview image of what is happening. From this preview image you can then jump directly to the recorded video sequence and watch it.
Oh, that was too fast now..... There are still a few intermediate steps missing... I'll rewind for a moment....

In order to use the camera functions, a suitable medium in the form of the APP provided by "K&F Concept" (both for ANDROID and iOS) must of course be installed. After a mandatory registration, the APP can then be used for the complete setup of the camera and subsequent ease of use. If you open the APP, it connects the video channel to the outdoor camera via encrypted communication, which can then be controlled with a variety of options. Whether the intercom, PTZ, light or alarm function is used is entirely up to the user's imagination. If you have installed a suitable micro SD card (class 10, up to 128GB) in the camera, there is the option of automatic video sequence storage in the event of detection in the field of view of the external camera.
That's really great, so you know and can also see whether the person who claimed to have been there was really there. The app can be installed on several smartphones, but each has to go through its own registration process. Then you have the possibility to share the outdoor camera with family members (up to 4) so that everyone has access to the camera and the videos. There is also the option of a so-called cloud service, which is free of charge for a seven-day test phase, over which all the video information then runs. I haven't tested this functionality yet. If you are on the go, you can access the camera via the mobile data of your smartphone or tablet. You also receive the warning messages online and can take immediate action to correct them if necessary. take appropriate steps and measures such as B. to use the intercom function or vlt. to activate the alarm siren directly.
All in all, the technological icing on the cake of "K&F Concept" convinced me and eased my concerns about "privacy" and "surveillance" a little.

PRO:
+ great conceptual solution
+ very good and sharp video images
+ sound matching the image
+ PTZ functionality
+ alarm and protection function
+ intercom function
+ motion detection, can also be specifically defined on a grid
+ self-sufficient energy supply through solar panels
+ buffer energy can be fed in using a battery pack + Possibility of external, additional charging via
USB cable
+ Light function for targeted illumination of the PTZ video area
+ Great infrared night video display
+ Video recording if a micro SD card is installed
+ Local storage option for the recordings
+ Messages & monitoring, even while on the go
+ Good price -performance ratio

CON: None found

RATING: 5 stars
I had a lot of fun testing this technological piece of cake. My skepticism about "surveillance technology" isn't what it used to be. I can recommend this outdoor camera to all AMAZON customers who want to improve their security standard around their own property and sleep more peacefully at night.

I received the product as part of a product test. That didn't affect my opinion in any way. My values are factual, unbiased and as objective as possible.
There are no special stars for me because I know that you, as a Kentfaith customer, would like to rely on reviews.
If you liked my review and perhaps also found inspiration for the product, you are welcome to rate this by confirming it using the "Useful" option. Thank

All in all great
We bought the K&F Concept surveillance camera for the garden. Easy and quick installation. Works perfectly + very good picture quality day and night. The battery charges itself over and over again via the solar panel. The money was worth it.

Great little camera.
Great Outdoor Surveillance Camera. We got one to keep an eye on our dog during the day. The subscription plan is reasonable when compared to other companies (like Arlo etc) and only needed if you want to have access to stored videos. Given the camera should cost a lot more the sub is very affordable.
We have multiple ring cameras in our house and being able to pay one sub for access to all is good value.

With an additional light you can easily see more...
... and this is especially true in the dark, because this is where the light scores and allows more detail and color vision.

► Brand manufacturers are making it increasingly difficult for other camera manufacturers to establish themselves successfully. In order to be able to counter this, the scope of services and the price must be right. Can you expect a good outdoor-capable WLAN camera for currently around A$200, which instead of Full HD (1,080p) has 2K, a light, two-way audio and a generous pan range (355° Pan and 120° Tilt)? offers ? Yes, you can, because I haven't found any real vulnerabilities so far. So if you can do without 4K, you can buy a good device at an attractive price, which tends to cost more from other manufacturers and also offers flawless workmanship and good optics.

►► Summary: attractive appearance, flawless workmanship, no separate power connection required due to the 9,600mAh battery + solar panel(!), sharp photos/videos, two-way audio and with direct recording options (micro SD card), free cloud -Storage (7 days), thanks to the engine. Control extensively rotatable. Overall, this ensures very good comfort.

► There are many good reasons for a camera surveillance system, which is why I have been using various cameras indoors and outdoors for years. The K&F Concept surveillance camera is specially designed for outdoors, although indoors is of course also possible. My previous cameras are used to monitor pets, but of course I also want to know what happens in my/our absence. For many parents in the home, this is certainly a key reason to buy a surveillance camera. I really don't like to think about burglars...

► Currently I mainly rely on two WLAN camera manufacturers (Blink and Reolink), but I also know other systems, e.g. B. by Arlo. There is a lot to be said for a special camera surveillance system with on-site recording options, namely on separate micro SD cards (up to 128 GB). However, private data in a (usually) foreign cloud is not for everyone, even if it is free (here 7 days). Local storage can therefore score points here, as long as the camera and memory card are not lost by thieves. But you should also ensure the best possible reception (if necessary, use a repeater).

Try out several possible locations for attaching the WLAN camera, provided you can also place the solar panel well. So far I have had good experiences (including reception), although any reception problems and jerky playback are not necessarily to be attributed to the camera. DECT telephones and heavily loaded 2.4 GHz networks can also be considered sources of interference.

► Installation: The instructions are very helpful and should be able to fix any problems. Otherwise, a smartphone/tablet is required via WLAN, since the use of the app (“K&F Cam”) is mandatory. Within this, the connection of the camera succeeds quite quickly and you can then get started immediately. Here you can set a few things and call up recordings.
Many manufacturers now rely on well-known apps such as "Smart Life" (or "Tuya" from the same manufacturer). Instead, the app "K&F Cam" (current iOS version 4.2.1) is specified here, although I have not checked whether the camera also works well with other apps.

You have to register in advance in the app (e-mail, password). After this procedure you also have access to the data in the camera (card) and other settings ("Settings"). You also have access to your camera on the go. You are guided within the well-structured and so far stable app, so that the cameras can then be called up separately. Not to forget the important remote access: this worked quite well in the test, as long as you are not stuck in a dead spot, you will (hopefully) be notified in good time if something happens.

► The battery has not given up so far, although the solar panel has always been responsible for charging. Now that the dark season is beginning, it remains to be seen whether this will remain the case with regular use. In any case, the camera is not designed for continuous operation and regularly long applications.

► What else is important? You have to do without an optical zoom here. However, that is not to be expected in this price range and is also not standard. But there is also a two-way audio (intercom function). All in all, a nice performance package.

An occasional data backup (PC or similar) can't do any harm anyway, although the question is what third parties want to do with the recordings... (unless thieves break in and cover up tracks...). A (paid) cloud service is therefore not necessary here, whereby at least 7 days are included as already mentioned...

►►► Conclusion: Overall, the K&F Concept Surveillance camera makes a very decent impression in terms of equipment and also visually. Easy to use and great picture
To my own surprise, I really like the K&F Concept 2K surveillance camera. Although I'm not a fan of total surveillance, in our case this camera serves its purpose quite well. In our case, it is used in the garden, as there are several pieces of play equipment for our own children and those of the neighbours. That way you can keep an eye on the kids a little more, because you can't always be there all the time.

Let's get to the camera itself. The main unit itself was delivered to us in gray and the camera makes a high-quality impression. The supplied solar panel can be connected to the camera with a fairly long cable, so the camera runs without electricity. In order to use the camera, you first have to download the associated app. The app is designed so easily and simply that I didn't have to look at the manual to get the camera up and running.
It couldn't be easier and I'm really excited about the picture and sound quality.

Due to the current time of year, I can unfortunately not yet fully assess whether the solar panel will actually do its job in autumn and winter. We're in the process of trying this out and if the camera/solar panel works properly when there's no direct sunlight, then I'll give the thing five stars. Until then, I'll stick with four very good stars.
