bought it to use with the many Pentax K-mount lenses (of various generations) that I use on the Pentax KP, including the Sony A7r 2 that I recently added to my kit. The adapter is well made and is made of very solid metal for the structure, for the connector and for the bayonet. The polished metal notched ring seen in the center allows the membrane to be closed between the maximum and minimum of 11 positions without reference. Basically, you can close the aperture of any lens, but you don't know exactly what value it's set to (other than, of course, the two extremes that correspond to the maximum and minimum of the lens mounted). This obviously applies to the most modern optics without their own aperture ring. The rotation of this ring, which basically wants to simulate the membrane ring, is quite fluid and has small shots to facilitate positioning as much as possible. I've used it with various Pentax APS-C lenses, from the old 50M 1.4 to the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 Art and 17-70 f/2.8-4 C. All work flawlessly, always within the limit , which is imposed on the most modern models of an approximate selection of the membrane. Obviously there are no electrical contacts, so there's no exif data on the optics and the focus is only manual (but the A7R2 is excellent in that regard). It is precisely the need to focus manually and without an electronic connection that prevents the use of some modern lenses, that is, those in which the focus ring does not work mechanically, but through the camera module. For example, the DA 18-50 WR RE, a very versatile and lightweight lens that I personally hold in high esteem, is sadly useless as there is no way to focus. Apart from this limit, which the adapter obviously cannot fix, the product is very valid and allows you to take excellent quality images of optics designed for another brand. In particular, the Sigma Art 18-35 still offers spectacular photos, even if you use the APS-C crop mode (however, with the 42Mpixels of the A7R2 sensor, you can take 18Mpixel photos, which are still valid).

Hello, the adapter should be used with manual lenses from the analog era, logically. On an Olympus E-PL7, I was curious about the usability and above all the achievable image quality. Since of course there is no electronic data exchange between the camera, lens and lens adapter, the camera or the image stabilizer should/can be set first to prevent camera shake Reduce. To do this, press the OK button, bring the image stabilizer to the desired setting. Then simply press the Info button and set the originally used focal length at the bottom right and you're done. The lenses came, to name just two, the Olympus G-Zuiko 1:3.5/28mm and the telephoto lens Olympus E-Zuiko 1: 4.0/200 mm. Of course, these are also used analogously on an Olympus OM-4 Ti. The adapter is well made and makes a solid impression. However, he has a slight lateral play on the bayonet. I guess less than a millimeter. But this doesn't affect the focusing at all, at least not with my lenses. I've experienced other things, and even without an adapter solution. So nothing earth-shattering, especially not at this low price. Of course it will then the camera, with the adapter and, for example, a G-Zuiko 3.5 28mm no case more suitable for jackets, and at almost 630 grams also heavier than, for example, with the Lumix 1:1.7 25mm at almost 490 grams. I like this Lumix, no question about it, but compared to the G-Zuiko 3.5 28mm, it seems to be attached to the camera, I would say "less high quality". If you have problems with manual focusing on an E-PL7, for example, I can recommend the Olympus VF-4 attachable viewfinder. The thing is great, so it can be adjusted well without a sectional image and/or microprism ring, as is the case in many analog cameras. Of course, focus peaking can also be used, but this function must then be assigned a button in the menu, e.g. the Fn button for quick access. The test JPEG photos I uploaded are all unprocessed and show quite good sharpness, colors and contrasts. My conclusion: Recommended and inexpensive adapter solution, but also with a slight tolerance on the bayonet.

For a long time I debated whether the expensive original from Olympus wouldn't make more sense. But since the adapter is just an attachment without any glass optics anyway, I decided to give the cheap alternative made in China a chance. Right decision! The K&F adapter is made entirely of metal, sits unconditionally and feels very valuable. Clear purchase recommendation for anyone who wants to use their old OM lenses on the beautiful, compact MFT. Of course, you have to take into account that due to the crop factor, the focal length has to be doubled in order to compare it with full format. So the 50mm lens shown in my photos is equivalent to 100mm; a very nice portrait focal length. In addition, the focus is purely manual. If you can live with this limitation, you get a great adapter and access to the fantastic, inexpensive OM system for very little money.

Bought to use my old Nikkor 50mm 1.8 Ai-s on an Olympus Pen E-PL7 as a portrait lens. The adapter pleases both visually and haptically and is very well made. Securely attaches to Nikon lens, securely snaps onto Pen's MFT bayonet like an Olympus or Panasonic lens. Nothing wobbles, no play. I have not tested the light tightness of the adapter against stray light under darkened conditions. The adapter is quite massive at 97 g, but this is reflected in a balanced weight distribution, a pleasant feel and also in a shake-free handling of the entire camera. In connection with focus peaking, manual focusing is really fun. I can use it to focus manually at least as well and quickly as I used to with the sectional image screen of the analogue SLR camera.

use this adapter on my Olympus OM-D EM-10 to be able to use my Nikon G and Nikon D lenses with it. When I unpacked the adapter I was extremely surprised by the weight and the grip. I didn't expect this cheap adapter to be so well made. Then I immediately screwed my heavy Nikkor lenses on it and was just happy, no wobbling, no play - absolutely nothing! I don't know yet what the long-term test will show, but I think it will continue to be positive. :)

still had 3 older lenses from Minolta, which I couldn't part with, but I couldn't use them on my Olympus either. After a long search I found this adapter. Ordered, tried and everything was fine. Nothing wobbles and everything fits perfectly. And I can use my lenses again. Good price and recommended.
