I bought the carbon tripod because I finally wanted a ball head :-). The tripod is incredibly light and remains very stable. The screw caps can be easily opened and then securely fastened again. The camera sits perfectly on the ball joint and is then super adjustable. The fixing screws are easy to move and yet very easy to fix.

When the camera is attached to the ball head mount with the plate, the spirit level is on the side of the screen, where it suits me. BUT the wheel to fix the plate is then on the side of the lens. With my Sigma, however, the rotary knob is almost on the lens. There are only tenths to hundredths between the rotary knob and the lens.

Otherwise the tripod is a recommendation:

- Weight
- stability
- size
- flexibility
- rapid deployment

The tripod comes in a handy and solid carrying bag and can be set up very easily and quickly. The processing of tripod and bag is great. The camera can be adjusted and aligned quickly thanks to the ball joint, and the integrated spirit level on the locking plate is a great help. Unfortunately, there is not enough rubber on the locking plate, which makes it easier for the camera to move horizontally... maybe that can be fixed in the successor model. All in all a great tripod for beginners for the price.

Decent tripod for <$100, seems well-made and maybe worth a bit more since it's lightweight and easily packed while walking. But I would never trust my expensive cameras on it in any wind >10 knots unless attaching a bag of rocks to the hook. The legs don't spread quite as wide as better more expensive ones, but with weight attached in wind, I'd be fully confident with it. I also easily replaced the attached ball-head with my old Manfrotto ball-head with a snap-in plate and it fits perfectly (the new ball head has a wonky slide-in plate which I can see slipping/dropping the camera while trying to slide it in place). If using a cheaper 'dropper' camera, I'd have no issues at all with any of the above.

Very functional, lightweight and compact tripod. Only the rubber ring on the mounting plate of the camera body could be more anti-slip

Overall I'm happy with the tripod, at the moment I want to use it for shooting slides. is so big that I can no longer open the battery and memory card compartment on the camera (MFT) and I have to detach the "quick release plate" from the camera every time I change. I have Tried using a small square quick-release plate (like those used on SLR cameras in the past), but the plate mount on the new tripod is a millimeter too small. remains cumbersome (memory card in , screwed quick-change blade,

The fixing screws are smooth-running and yet very easy to fix. 1.: Unfortunately for me there are 2 small weaknesses in the product: The clamps for adjusting the tripod feet rattle incredibly. I always have to worry that the clamps will fall off. 2.: When the camera is attached to the plate on the ball head mount, the spirit level is on the side of the display, which I think is ok. BUT the knob for attaching the plate is then on the side of the lens. With my Sigma, however, the rotary knob is almost on the lens. There are only 10ths to 100ths between the rotary knob and the lens. As the title says it is light and sturdy. Materials seem to be good quality (haven't had it long so I will update if it breaks unexpectedly) the rotating ball is a very nice touch, makes for some unique shot set ups.

Overall it seems as if it was actually designed by someone that wanted a tripod capable of being used in plenty of rugged situations.

If I was to harp on something it would be the camera mount. Most parts are made from high quality aluminum so I would like to see the mount done the same rather than plastic. As well (this is probably me not mounting it right) but the mounting plate that goes on the camera doesn't seem to fit like others do and it feels loose. I fixed it with a bit of craft foam to get it tight but I would like to see a mounting plate that fits an older camera a bit better.

Solid buy especially for the price.
