Unique security camera with Dual Lens-Fixed and PTZ.
The solar camera activated quickly after I downloaded the app. I like the dual cameras since one is fixed, and I can rotate the PTZ camera in different directions. Nice to have 2 views with one camera. I have a micro SD card installed and saved images are of decent quality. We can see all activities on my backyard from my mobile now. Everything is working great.

In night vision mode you can easily see more...
three modes are offered here: an infrared mode, a color mode and an alarm mode.

► Brand manufacturers are making it increasingly difficult for other camera manufacturers to establish themselves successfully. In order to be able to counter this, the scope of services and the price must be right.
Can you expect a good outdoor-capable camera for currently around €160, which instead of Full HD (1,080p) offers 2K, a light with infrared and alarm, two-way audio and a horizontal rotation range of 355° and 120° vertically ? Yes, you can, because I haven't found any real vulnerabilities so far. So if you can do without 4K, you can buy a good device at an attractive price, which tends to cost more from other manufacturers and also offers flawless workmanship and good optics.

►► In short: attractive appearance, flawless workmanship, power connection required(!), sharp photos/videos, spotlight, two-way audio and with direct recording option (micro SD card), optional cloud storage, thanks to the motor. Control 360° monitoring possible. This ensures good comfort overall.

► There are many good reasons for a camera surveillance system, which is why I have been using various cameras indoors and outdoors for years. The K&F surveillance camera is specially designed for outdoors. My previous cameras are used to monitor pets, but of course I also want to know what happens in my/our absence. For many parents in the home, this is certainly a key reason to buy a surveillance camera. I really don't want to think about burglars here...

► Installation: The instructions are very helpful and should be able to fix any problems. Within this, the connection of the camera succeeds quite quickly and you can then get started immediately. Here you can set a few things and call up recordings.

First you have to agree to the terms of use and data protection guidelines in the German-language app and then register (e-mail, password). After this procedure you also have access to the data in the camera (card) and other settings ("Settings"). You also have access to your camera on the go. You are guided within the well-structured and so far stable app, so that the cameras can then be called up separately. On a smartphone/tablet, the whole thing with images/videos looks pretty decent, although you can make appropriate changes to the settings. Fiddle around a bit to try some things, e.g. B. when creating scenes, routines / schedules, within which the camera should be "sharp", or when the light should be switched on.

► What the cameras can do - Requirements for good reception
Based on my previous experiences with other cameras of this or a similar type, I was not disappointed here either, although I prefer operation via LAN cable, at least indoors, for fundamental reasons.

The respective image from the surveillance camera is detailed and sharp during the day. If you zoom in (digitally), this is more or less at the expense of the sharpness, despite 2K, because there is no optical zoom. In night vision mode and tending to low light and in the dark, the image is still satisfactory and not faint and blurry. Then black and white without light, but ok
If, on the other hand, the spotlight is activated, you have color and more details even in the dark. This is a certain added value and may also serve as a deterrent, whereby the infrared mode detects movements and then activates the light, while the alarm mode lives up to its name... ;-) The area to be monitored regularly should be narrowed down as precisely as possible in
advance , so that the camera despite motor. Control does not need to be panned in the main viewing area. Not to forget the important remote access: this worked quite well in the test, as long as you are not stuck in a dead spot, you will (hopefully) be notified in good time if something happens.

► A battery was not installed here, which limits the flexibility in a certain way. A protected (!) power connection (possibly with an extension cable) must therefore be available. But this also has the advantage that the camera can be used more frequently without the battery (with or without solar) dying too quickly... ►

What else is important? You have to do without an optical zoom here. However, that is not to be expected in this price range and is also not standard. But there is also a solid two-way audio (intercom function). All in all, a nice performance package.

► Keyword data/theft: If the camera accidentally falls into the wrong hands, the data recorded on the micro SD card will fall into the wrong hands. An occasional data backup (PC or similar) can't do any harm anyway, although the question is what third parties want to do with the recordings... (unless thieves break in and cover up tracks...). The cloud service is therefore not absolutely necessary here.

►►► Conclusion: Overall, the camera makes a good impression in terms of equipment and also visually. Ensure the best possible reception, because there are many sources of interference lurking in the 2.4 GHz network, which can have an unfavorable effect. If that works, you get a smooth, sharp picture during the day, with a limited wide angle, but also motor. Steering. The resolution in the dark is also good using the spotlight, although a number of details can also be made out at a distance in addition to the color view.

Note: Alarms ("warning notifications") via motion detection/sounds are possible, ok for my purposes and therefore usable. Remote access also works, which means extra security on the go. Nevertheless, if there are any problems (too many/too few alarms), you should generally tinker a little and avoid moving backgrounds or background noise as much as possible.

Despite the lack of long-term experience, there are also four stars from a price point of view because I like the scope of services.

Great for my son
Got this for my son, transitioning to a 64GB digital voice activated recorder with playback capabilities has been an improvement in his academic journey. The device's large storage capacity is perfect for his busy class schedule, allowing him to record long lectures, discussions and group study sessions without having to worry about running out of space. USB-C compatibility is a significant advantage, allowing files to be transferred to your phone, Android device, or PC quickly and seamlessly. The voice activation feature is particularly useful. It ensures that no part of the lecture is missed as the recorder intelligently starts and stops recording based on the speaker's voice. My son is very happy after using it.

A solid fingerprint doorknob
decided to get a new doorknob because mine is broken and already too old. I was initially skeptical about purchasing a fingerprint-activated lock. I'm glad I got one. Super easy to install and I don't have to worry about the key. Good buy!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆}

Most new generation surveillance cameras are often round or very rounded in shape and white in color.
This is different here with the square cube with the chamfered edges and I really like the shape.
In addition, the color, which goes very well with our windows, doors, etc., is not as conspicuous as a white camera.

To start up, you have to install the manufacturer's app and create an account as usual and integrate the camera into the WLAN network.

The camera only supports 2.4GHz networks and if you connect the device (tablet or smartphone) on which you have installed the app to the 2.4GHz WiFi and follow the instructions in the app and the German manual, the setup is easy and done quickly.

The camera is attached to a wall etc. directly with the housing using screws which are then covered by silicone plugs.
It doesn't make sense for me to mount the camera rotated by 180°, but if this is necessary, you can activate "rotate the screen" in the app so that the image is not displayed upside down.

I really like that the live image in the app is displayed quickly and without much delay. With my much more expensive cameras (Arl..Ultra) I have a much longer delay and the picture is not much better with them either.

The app offers the usual options for setting up the camera and a clear display of the recordings on the micro SD card.

There is a power consumption statistic so in conjunction with the alarm and video settings you can find out the maximum battery life.

As usual, areas can also be marked in which no movement should be detected.

The recordings and the live image can be made with the resolutions SD or FHD. This is set with two clicks in the app.
The current WLAN strength and data transmission rate are also displayed there.
With SD it was about 20KB/s for me and with Full HD (FHD) up to 220KB/s.

The image was displayed very sharply and with high contrast with a slightly visible delay (1-2s).
The depth of field is impressive. Both an object positioned very close (approx. 30cm) to the lens and objects that were far away were sharply represented.
The digital 4x zoom works, but shouldn't be overestimated because of course details are lost as a result. If you want sharp pictures here, you have to opt for a camera with an optical zoom.

Using the app, the camera can be panned over a very wide area with a very short delay time. That's 355° horizontally and 120° vertically.
This gives you an all-round view and you can look at the sky or the ground.

What also worked very well was the motion detection with the PIR sensor, which is intended to only detect movements of people and not to record every movement of bushes etc.

In the alarm management, the detection sensitivity can be set in 10 levels.
In the "Alarm plan" periods are defined in which recordings are to be made
The live image from the camera is shown with the "Alarm area" item and overlaid with 144 squares (16 horizontally and 9 vertically). By activating the individual squares (which are clearly colored orange), you can define the areas in which the motion detection should be active.

One of three options can be activated under "Warning with sound and light".

"When motion or people are detected, the camera sends a warning with"
• Alarm with sound (siren)
• Alarm with light
• Alarm with light and sound

A sub-item in alarm management is the "alarm work mode".
Three options can be activated here.

1▪︎In energy-saving mode, the recording time is limited to a maximum of 10s and the detection of people is activated.
2▪︎In performance mode, the recording time is extended by detecting motion again.
3 ▪︎If the "Custom Mode" is activated, you have three options.
• Activate that only persons are recognized at night and/or during the day.
• The recording is made with 10 • 20 or 30 seconds
• Switch off the alarm interval or set it to 2 • 5 or 10 minutes.

The battery life is of course dependent on how many events are recorded. The longest battery life is probably achieved in energy-saving mode.
You can check this in the power consumption statistics and adjust the settings in performance mode accordingly.

The recordings were stored on a micro SD card with a capacity of 128GB. My card was recognized but had to be formatted in the camera. Therefore, you should back up the data on the card beforehand.

On the positive side, storage in the cloud has to be activated separately. According to the description, the free test phase is 7 days, which I did not use, although it makes sense.
If the camera is stolen, the SD card is gone and you have no evidence or pictures of the thief.
The videos are definitely stored more securely in the cloud.

I was surprised by the WLAN range, which allows a greater distance from the router compared to other cameras.
Here again comes the comparison with the Arl.. cameras, which - for me - have a much shorter range.
The stronger signal - for me - can probably be explained by the "improved 4 dBi dual WLAN antennas". However, other reasons cannot be ruled out.

The WLAN range as well as the picture quality is very good, the depth of field is great and if it's a bit dark and you want to see colored pictures, you can switch on the built-in and bright "headlight LED" with the app.
This can optionally also be activated when motion is detected and thus draw the attention of uninvited "guests" to the camera.

A not very loud but sufficiently loud siren can be activated for 30s when motion is detected and drives away - hopefully - uninvited visitors if necessary.
The built-in speaker is better for communicating with visitors than I've heard on other cameras.

Due to the relatively short test phase, I cannot yet judge the battery life in the current weather (with little sunshine) and thus the charging by the solar panel. In addition, the battery life is also dependent on many factors, so that the times determined by me cannot be regarded as a reference.

I rate the price-performance ratio as very reasonable.

In any case, the overall impression is so good that I can recommend the camera and rate it with a very good five stars.
It's one of the best cameras I've tried so far.

Great little camera.
Great Outdoor Surveillance Camera. We got one to keep an eye on our dog during the day. The subscription plan is reasonable when compared to other companies (like Arlo etc) and only needed if you want to have access to stored videos. Given the camera should cost a lot more the sub is very affordable.
We have multiple ring cameras in our house and being able to pay one sub for access to all is good value.

With an additional light you can easily see more...
... and this is especially true in the dark, because this is where the light scores and allows more detail and color vision.

► Brand manufacturers are making it increasingly difficult for other camera manufacturers to establish themselves successfully. In order to be able to counter this, the scope of services and the price must be right. Can you expect a good outdoor-capable WLAN camera for currently around A$200, which instead of Full HD (1,080p) has 2K, a light, two-way audio and a generous pan range (355° Pan and 120° Tilt)? offers ? Yes, you can, because I haven't found any real vulnerabilities so far. So if you can do without 4K, you can buy a good device at an attractive price, which tends to cost more from other manufacturers and also offers flawless workmanship and good optics.

►► Summary: attractive appearance, flawless workmanship, no separate power connection required due to the 9,600mAh battery + solar panel(!), sharp photos/videos, two-way audio and with direct recording options (micro SD card), free cloud -Storage (7 days), thanks to the engine. Control extensively rotatable. Overall, this ensures very good comfort.

► There are many good reasons for a camera surveillance system, which is why I have been using various cameras indoors and outdoors for years. The K&F Concept surveillance camera is specially designed for outdoors, although indoors is of course also possible. My previous cameras are used to monitor pets, but of course I also want to know what happens in my/our absence. For many parents in the home, this is certainly a key reason to buy a surveillance camera. I really don't like to think about burglars...

► Currently I mainly rely on two WLAN camera manufacturers (Blink and Reolink), but I also know other systems, e.g. B. by Arlo. There is a lot to be said for a special camera surveillance system with on-site recording options, namely on separate micro SD cards (up to 128 GB). However, private data in a (usually) foreign cloud is not for everyone, even if it is free (here 7 days). Local storage can therefore score points here, as long as the camera and memory card are not lost by thieves. But you should also ensure the best possible reception (if necessary, use a repeater).

Try out several possible locations for attaching the WLAN camera, provided you can also place the solar panel well. So far I have had good experiences (including reception), although any reception problems and jerky playback are not necessarily to be attributed to the camera. DECT telephones and heavily loaded 2.4 GHz networks can also be considered sources of interference.

► Installation: The instructions are very helpful and should be able to fix any problems. Otherwise, a smartphone/tablet is required via WLAN, since the use of the app (“K&F Cam”) is mandatory. Within this, the connection of the camera succeeds quite quickly and you can then get started immediately. Here you can set a few things and call up recordings.
Many manufacturers now rely on well-known apps such as "Smart Life" (or "Tuya" from the same manufacturer). Instead, the app "K&F Cam" (current iOS version 4.2.1) is specified here, although I have not checked whether the camera also works well with other apps.

You have to register in advance in the app (e-mail, password).

► What the cameras can do - prerequisites for good reception
Based on my previous experiences with other cameras of this or a similar type, I was not disappointed here either, although I prefer operation via LAN cable indoors for fundamental reasons. A repeater can work wonders with WLAN reception problems and ensure the best possible reception.

Not to forget the important remote access: this worked quite well in the test, as long as you are not stuck in a dead spot, you will (hopefully) be notified in good time if something happens.

► The battery has not given up so far, although the solar panel has always been responsible for charging. Now that the dark season is beginning, it remains to be seen whether this will remain the case with regular use. In any case, the camera is not designed for continuous operation and regularly long applications.

► What else is important? You have to do without an optical zoom here. However, that is not to be expected in this price range and is also not standard. But there is also a two-way audio (intercom function).

A (paid) cloud service is therefore not necessary here, whereby at least 7 days are included as already mentioned...

How Do Security Cameras Detect Motion?
