First, they are a very good protection against dust or sand from the beach. Of course, a filter also protects the lens, the lens in the camera. So much for the obvious, but the main job of a filter is to let less light through onto the sensor, it's like putting sunglasses on the camera. This has the advantage that longer exposure times can be achieved. It helps the camera to adjust and react faster in automatic mode when controlling the exposure time or white balance. Or if you prefer to work in Pro mode, you will quickly find that the exposure, the shutter, generally works better. In general, filters make the water smoother, and there are also fewer reflections. Or if you take great landscape shots, the sky immediately looks a little bluer. Filters also enhance the colors generally, making them more vibrant. DJI has, in my opinion, excellent colors and that in connection with a filter automatically makes the recordings **//LVL UP. This saves you having to color the film material because it comes out of the camera almost finished. Of course, the full professionals among you have other requirements and such, but I'm talking here for the normal user, like you and me... There are different ND filters. It starts **in my set at ND 4 and goes up to ND32. The ND4 filter lets only ¼ of the light through to the sensor and the ND32 filter 1/32. I use my filters like this... in the morning ND4, towards noon ND8, noon to afternoon ND16 and afternoon to late afternoon when the sun is very high ND32, and then in the evening just before the golden hour I go down again with the filter strengths. Over time, you will figure out when and where which filter is best used, is not witchcraft, even if many want you to believe that. Especially in summer or in winter when there is snow, I think it should at least be almost mandatory to have ND filters to have. If you like to film in Pro mode and work a lot with it, it is almost a must to work with filters alone because otherwise you cannot work with exposures in a meaningful way.... My set of Mavic 3 Classic ND filters attaches easily and comes with a neat protective case. Testing the ND64 filter I got a noticeable 1000K Cool/ 2% Green tint color cast, but the spectrum transmission is smooth so it can easily be corrected in post. The sharpness is good. Overall happy with the filters, especially for the price.

I really like that the filters are made of metal. In addition, one weighs just 8g, which does not change the flight characteristics of the drone.

The compensation is excellent, the filter has no color cast.

Conclusion
In my opinion, the K&F Concept ND filter set is a very good product. The filters are cleanly processed + the set is thoughtfully put together. Long exposures with ND256 or higher filters will not be done from the air anyway, so I think the ND 64 is the all-purpose weapon for very bright environments or very long shutter speeds for motion blur.
At the time of my review, the price of the filter set was around EUR 50, which in my opinion represents an excellent price/performance ratio.

The Mavic 3/Mavic 3 Cine Drone variable ND filter is well made, easy to install and use, and nicely packaged. Compared to filters bought on other platforms, K&F does a great job!

I had actually used the Neewer ND filters for my DJI drones and GoPro for years and was always satisfied with them. Now I have also received this one from K&F for my new Mavic to test. Delivery was quick thanks to Amazon.

The filters fit the Mavic 3, which is also available from Neewer. There is not much difference in price between the two sets. K&F are a few euros cheaper, but also offer quasi-integrated polarization filters. The filters are all top-quality and sit firmly on the camera body. Even with a lot of action and turbulent scenes, there is no need to worry. The filters remain reliably in place.

With the ND filters, the exposure time in bright sunlight is extended and the pictures simply look much better than without them. There are some good apps that recommend certain ND filters depending on location, time of year and position of the sun/time. Lens flares in backlit shots are also largely suppressed, which Neewer also does well.

The lenses are easy to clean and a case is included for transport. I can only recommend. If you are looking for ND filters and do not need the polarization settings, you can also use Neewer. Neewer is occasionally on sale, unfortunately I don't know about K&F yet. Because they are new to me.

I'm pretty impressed with these ND filters. First off, the build quality is pretty good...metal frame and glass construction, as opposed to the cheaper plastic versions (that I've had before). The picture quality is great in my opinion. Check out the short video for yourself. Shot on Mavic Mini (original) with ND32 filter 1080p at 30 fps and ISO 100. I also have another brand (Freewell) of ND filters for my Mavic Air 2 and I find that they work just as well as this one (obviously different drones... but compared to image quality) and are a bit cheaper. These install easily and stay on securely. I would definitely recommend these.

I recently bought a DJI Mavic 3 Classic, mainly for filming videos. The Mavic 3 is great because it has a physical aperture that lets you control the amount of light that comes in, but like any camera, it's limited. So in order to film at a cinematic frame rate with a shutter speed of 24fps and an exposure time of 1/50th of a second, I needed help, even on cloudy days. These ND filters do it and do it well.

The filters come in nice plastic packaging with solid foam cut outs for each filter which protect them well. The filters fit the camera just as securely as the clear glass filter that comes with the drone. But it may take a little fiddling to get it just right. And since the area of ​​the ND filter region is slightly larger than that of a clear filter, the additional filter area ensures that there is no vignetting (darkening at the edges) that can often occur with ND filters. Also, I didn't notice any color cast.

If I had to complain about anything, it would be the microscopic lettering that the filters are labeled with. This is partly due to the thin frame, so they don't have much to work with. But for old people like me, they could have used a slightly larger font. So keep a magnifying glass in your pocket if you want to know which filter to choose.

Otherwise, K&F generally makes high quality products, and it appears to do so. That's a good value.
