Like the carrying case that comes with them and with two you can either do an interview or have a second one for long recording so you do not need to wait for a charge. This is a pretty cool little doohickey. I’m sure it has lots of practical applications for mechanics and repair people. As for me, I can use it to look behind and under appliances, furniture, inside vents, etc. Not the most straightforward instructions, but here’s all you have to do: 1) Put the inskam app on your phone. 2) Set your WiFi to use the “inskam” network. 3) Plug the endoscope into the wireless transmitter. 4) Hold down the power button on the wireless transmitter for 3 seconds, until it lights up. 5) Use the switch on the endoscope cable to adjust the brightness of the camera light. 6) Open the app on your phone and start viewing! You can even take pics or video. There’s definitely a learning curve in terms of how close you should get to the items you’re viewing, and in how to manipulate the cable, but with some practice, you’ll catch on. Pretty cool!

I ordered it to find pipe connections for buried roof and patio drain piping.
It worked very well - - I was able to see a very clear image with both an iPhone and an iPad.
I was able to get the wireless connection to both the iPhone and iPad, but not both at the same time.
Both my wife and my neighbor seemed to quickly establish the wireless connection to an iPhone or an iPad, but I got very frustrated while trying to find the proper steps to do it consistently without help.
With both the iPad and the iPhone, the display seemed to keep up with the motion of the camera. I did not notice any lag at all. The image was very sharp in about the middle third of the advertised focus distance from the camera. The image got a bit blurry towards the minimum and maximum advertised distances from the camera. But even at the 16 inch advertised upper limit, the image was still useful, even if not very sharp.
