The weather finally took a break and I was able to play a round of golf to try out the new range finder. I have an older Callaway model that has been working for a while so I decided it was time for a new rangefinder. And wow, this works great. Excellent tilt function, fast pin capture and high accuracy. Nice purchase!

I've used several rangefinders on my travels and this one is by far the easiest to use with one hand. The focus wheel at the top of the rangefinder can be adjusted with just your index finger, while the meter and mode buttons at the bottom can be operated entirely with your thumb. This one-handed operation is particularly useful for eyeglass wearers like me, as it virtually eliminates the common smudges that result from having to adjust the image with one hand while trying to steady the rangefinder with the other. The interface is simple and intuitive, with discrete functions to control distance, angle, and speed. The accuracy is among the best I've seen, adjustable to tenths of a degree. I like the lock-on mode that locks on a specific target. USB-C charging is a great convenience for me. It can be charged anywhere - at home, in the car, in a coffee shop, etc. I really appreciate not having to keep changing batteries. bought this range finder because I am playing on a course that has shifted some greens this year and my Garmin S62 watch is showing misleading distances to those greens. The range finder arrived a few weeks ago and I've found it to be very accurate and easy to use. Before my watch I had used a range finder but this one is much better, with the flag lock vibration and elevation adjustment. I've also found that I can use the rangefinder to determine where on the green the flag is, which I often find to be a problem when relying solely on the watch, and have found that I can use the rangefinder to provide more information than I get from my watch, although the watch is easier to use since it's right on my arm. As for the great service, I found that my device did not come with the wrist strap. When I wrote to the company I was told they would send me a new one and a week later it appeared. I am very impressed and would highly recommend the THGolf range finder. It is great. I haven't used it often enough to comment on battery life.
