I treated myself to a set of magnetic lens filters and bought this cap here as well. If you often use filters for photography, you should think about getting a magnetic set!

UV filters were essential in film photography, which was sensitive to ultraviolet radiation, but not so in digital photography, where whatever they say, it has no effect (the digital sensors used in today's professional and amateur cameras are NOT sensitive to UV light). In addition, these filters add a layer of glass that can affect image quality if you have lenses that are already of good quality, and can cause unwanted reflections, in some cases even with a sunscreen (since the lens itself can reflect in the filter, so flashes or defined reflections appear in the photo). Whether these filters serve as protection is also somewhat questionable, of course they do not serve as drop protection (if the lens falls head-on on something sharp, the filter and the lens will break). So do they have any use or advantage? However, they do serve as protection from dust and splashes on the front lens, since you can always clean the filter with whatever you have at hand without having to fear abrasions on the lens. It also serves as a surface for other interventions, such as painting with colored markers, adding Vaseline or other materials that give creative effects to our photos without dirtying or damaging the front lens of the lens. The build quality is very good, the anti-reflective coating is also excellent (although not perfect, of course), and it includes a spare lens cap, which is a nice but unnecessary detail as it makes the filter housing excessively large. It is a useful but not essential accessory, whose current price (37.99€) seems completely excessive to me despite the build quality.

In exploring various filters to enhance my nighttime photography, I stumbled upon this blue streak filter. Its primary allure was the advertised effect of softening and adding dynamic lines to light sources in photos. It genuinely brings a unique aesthetic to night scenes, particularly with streetlights or car headlights. The magnetic attachment feature also stood out, snapping onto the lens with ease and without disrupting the camera's balance. However, while the filter added a lovely artistic touch, cleaning it was a bit of a challenge due to its delicate coatings.

I've used K&F filters previously and was looking for something to protect my front element from getting inadvertently scratched. After all, glass can be the most expensive part of your photography kit. This has gone onto a Zoom lens which I rarely use other filters on, a 24-205mm zoom with a 77mm thread. The reason why I mention this is that if you intend to use filters a lot, and are using wider zooms (in the 16-24mm range), I know vignetting can occur even with two filters attached. So on my wide angles, I normally have either a CPL or ND filter as I'm capturing sunsets/waterfall landscapes and an additional UV filter wouldn't be of use.

But for a walkaround lens, something like this will protect your front lens element from scratching with minimal light loss. I'm using Sony G lenses on a full-frame 61MP camera, and I've not really noticed any loss of resolution, sharpness, or a bad colour cast with this filter. As an entry-level filter for 90% of users, it offers great protection. If you are a professional photographer, who relies on your photography for a living, I'm sure that you would find better alternatives at a greatly increased cost, but for most beginners and amateurs (I'd consider myself after 9 years, an "amateur enthusiast") it's perfectly fine.

The included cloth is fine, but honestly, I've got so many, I'm not sure I'd use it. The spare cap and lanyard works well, yes, it fits the filter perfectly and it's always nice to have a spare. But the important thing is how it affects images and I saw no negative impact at all.

So, overall, good value, entry-level protection for beginners and amateurs that won't have a major negative impact on your images.

This is a great variable ND and CPL filter that works very nicely. It Is an ND2-32 variable and circular polarizing filter. When attached to my lens and texted through the ND range there was no notice of the "X" pattern that can be noticed in some cheaper quality variable ND filters. the ND rage is effective for general photography and should prove useful in any photography kit bag. there are two small "handles" that makes for easy rotating/adjusting of the ND range but I do prefer a design that doesn't have the handles as it's a little more compact and can be kept on your lens without worry of catching the handles if you are putting your camera in a bag and removing it frequently or quickly. That said, there is some merit to the handles as they make for smoother adjustment. It's all to your preference. The polarizer comes in a nice plastic holder with good foam to keep it safe from damage. The 24-Layer waterproof coating and 5 Stop ND Polarizer is a nice combination particularly for landscape photos. All in all this is a great variable ND filter that I wil Ladd to my kit to compliment my other filters. I would recommend it.

have already bought several K&F square filters and the results are very good, they are good value for money. ND filters (ND8, ND64 and ND1000) are not noticeably dominant in the photos. The distribution of the 3 colors in the histogram is very similar in terms of direct camera photography, making it tremendously easier to edit photos by not having to eliminate dominants. The purple filter offers a very interesting help for night shots. Removes much of the orange halo/fog that appears in night city photography and provides a good starting point for image editing.

I find this tripod to be excellent value for what you get. It could be a bit more stable and robust. It is very stable and very robust, but not quite enough for night photography. For daytime and moderate darkness it works great. I like the flexibility of using it in a number of different configurations. I also like the light weight, small folded size and portability.
