It's just as accurate as my golf buddies' $500 range finders and calculates distance based on total distance and slope distance. It's easy to use, doesn't require batteries as it has an internal battery that lasts for multiple rounds on a single charge, and appears to be made out of parts that appear to be of very similar quality to the $500 rangefinders on the market. I couldn't be happier with this range finder!
