Use this as my main tripod in my podcast studio. Feel confident enough to take it out in the field.

I bought the tripod and since then I've used it more often in the field, also in the water (no effects). So far I've only been able to find out. that the screw connection at the top of the separation point to the center column loosens itself from time to time (a flick of the wrist and the screw connection is tight again). Nothing too dramatic for me. The materials appear to be of high quality. I would have liked to see the screw caps on the legs in aluminum as well, but the price has to come from somewhere.

CONCLUSION: A very good tripod for the price, which always stands securely (provided it is used correctly) and is relatively light.

The tripod is great, it is stable even in the field, the operation and processing quality are top and the adjustment range is enormous. The ability to place the camera under the tripod for macro shots, very close to the ground, is cool.

You are looking for a tripod that is versatile, lightweight and robust and this product met all my expectations. I have been using it for field work and I have found it very useful and comfortable. The materials are of excellent quality and aesthetically it is a very nice tripod. 100% recommended.

I use this tripod for videography with iPads and many possible configs are one it’s best attributes. I also use the tripod for track and field - don’t ask. The range of heights is unbelievable. The first one I bought, which was a similar model fell apart but I decided to give this better model a try. This is the best tripod I have ever owned.

It's rather flimsy but very very minor detail and doesn't stop me from using this tripod in any way shape or form. I tested it out for stability on my 1984 Canon AE-1 Program and put my longest lense onto it. Locked everything down and gave things a good wiggle. The tripod held up well and I feel confident taking it out in the field. It's a good height and I really like the twist locks on the legs. It's compact enough that it will fit into the side of a camera back pack with no issues. The carrying bag is decent quality it seems and is a nice add on. If you're thinking about ordering it, go ahead. It's a nice little tripod for the field and folds up quite compact.

If you're looking for an affordable, yet simple (and most importantly, quality) tripod to carry around, this is it. I use it on set for my B camera, and in the field for quick shots when a simple, light tripod is all I need. Super sturdy as well. At the price, you can't beat it.
