I had a solo trip through the Swiss Alps recently and wanted something that would allow me to easily get into the photos of the gorgeous scenery without usual arm-length selfies. This worked perfectly!

Pros:
—it is compact enough to easily fit in a carry on or a daypack
—easy to set up with intuitive adjustment points
—the included remote worked flawlessly with my iPhone. Just switched it on and it immediately functioned to trigger the camera every time
—both lightweight and sturdy. An excellent balance both in stick mode and tripod mode

Cons:
—a bit of a struggle to get the tripod stable on uneven ground since legs aren’t independently adjustable
—the screw-in mount doesn’t have a very deep screw so it’s possible to inadvertently loosen too much and drop your phone. Need to be careful
—the closed legs make for a big handle in stick mode. Not bad for someone with larger hands but could be a problem if your hands are on the small side

Overall very, very happy with this tripod and it delivered just what I needed when I was on hikes alone or didn’t want to bother anyone else. Would highly recommend

Advantages1. The camera is small and can be carried easily.2. The battery usage time is long.3. Easy to select menu.4. It is waterproof.6. The price/performance is good.Disadvantages1. In 1080 60fps shooting, the pixels are coarse than expected, and the sharpness of the screen is poor. 2. The zoom function is meaningless because it is not an optical zoom. Conclusion: Good for beginners to use.(After using more, I will add a testimony.)

Can not believe how well this can see in the dark, 400 + yards under the thermal mode and I can identify animals.

I only have a DJI action cam and my smartphone for the test, both of which the tripod can withstand with ease. In my opinion, no system camera would hold up either, but maybe not with the largest lens. The pack size is perfectly fine, so you can take the tripod with you on any tour. I am very happy with it!
