I ordered this to make note-keeping from meetings and appointments easier, rather than using my phone. My phone doesn't always record great, picking up alot of background noise, and sometimes shuts off if I have to use my phone for another purpose (for instance at one Drs appt was recording and my Dr wanted to show me something using my phone, and the voice recording app on my phone shut off when we turned on the other app on my phone). I go to Dr appts for myself as well as with my husband and an elderly family member who I need to be very aware of their medical needs, so it's important that I don't miss anything. I like to record the appointments so I can go home and note everything (what the Drs have said about lab results, what they suggest regarding diet, etc.).
We've also used this for a couple of meetings with an attorney, regarding our Trust and Will. This came in handy when trying to remember what we needed to do with the paperwork in regards to the trust, for property deeds and the titles for our vehicles, for example. I have owned about 4-6 dash cams and they all have so many downfalls. From recording time, no way to connect video to your phone, ect. This dash cam has an app to connect and down videos EFFORTLESSLY! I will be buying another for my husbands truck

The only down side is you can't watch the recorded videos on your phone. YOU have to have a computer to view the videos and pictures.
