This was a Christmas present for my 13 year old son. He's been wanting a real night vision device since I palmed off on him a set of glasses with flashlights attached to each earpiece.
This works. The display is fairly clear, and detail can be discerned well. It does take decent photos & videos to the card. My son loves exploring in the near neighborhood after dark with a friend and always comes back excited about everything he's seen.

This is not a DSLR it’s a fancy looking digital camera which is fine for a beginner. This was purchased for a 13 year old. Still has a lot of cool features, takes great photos especially during action shots like sports games, and very clear night photos. Very pleased with the camera.

I purchased this digital camera for my 83 year old mum, for her to use on her 1st ever upcoming cruise. Mum will not mind me saying, but she is in no way technically minded, and she does not have wi-fi. This is why we chose an easy to use camera for her. Very happy with the product.

I got this as a gift for my 13 year old niece. She's the "official" photographer for her online school newspaper and wanted to use a dedicated camera instead of her cell phone..

I'll begin with my impressions, and then add hers.

First, the camera is really light. Holding it on the subject, even for an extended period of time, doesn't require a lot of effort. The controls are straightforward and easy to use. There's usually a learning curve with a digital camera, but I had this one working in just a few minutes.

The five power zoom does a great job in maintaining a sharp image throughout the entire range of magnification. I was also impressed by the fact that the camera comes with two batteries and a SD card. A lot of them don't.

A charger is included and the cable plugs directly into the camera. The extra battery is also charged this way.

Picture quality? Outstanding. The auto focus works well and produces excellent images. I have a name-brand camera that i paid three times as much as this one costs, and frankly, it's difficult to determine the difference in picture quality.

What did my niece think of it? Loves it. The quality gives her what she needs to produce sharp, clear images, and the ease of use lets her grab a shot when there's very little time to prepare.

Overall, the camera delivers a lot of value for the price. It's lightweight and takes up very little room. I definitely recommend it!

This digital camera was completely perfect for my 16 year old to take to Poland with her last month for a school trip. The fashionable pink color made her happy and the compact design. But more importantly, the sleek, compact design made the camera perfect for her to fit it in her Fanny pack while she was on sightseeing trips. And speaking of size, normally a camera this tiny wouldn’t have a very good lens, but this camera’s lens is amazing. I would definitely buy this camera again.

bought these for my 13 year old son this year after years of asking for "night vision goggles". I liked the fact that he could take pictures and videos with it, just plug it into his computer and practice editing. He's also excited about this idea, but we're still in the zombie hunting phase, so can't comment on that feature yet, lol. It was the first gift in years that put a smile on the kid's face, he enjoys playing with it in the dark, uses his IMAGINATION, camping season is coming up so he'll be getting plenty of footage, and there are still features to be discovered. Overall we have no complaints.
