The VB99 Mini V Mount battery from K&F Concept is delivered in a very stable box, which is lined with foam on the lid and on the bottom. The manufacturer has included a leaflet with instructions and information, but unfortunately the language is only English. A charging cable is also not included in the scope of delivery. The black plastic housing is very solid and most of the connections are protected from splash water by soft rubber covers. The first thing I did was fully charge the battery. The capacity of the internal lithium-ion battery with a size of 6700 mAh is displayed with percentage accuracy. The OLED display is easy to read, but I would like it to be a bit bigger. The glossy black surface on the front is approx. 65 mm wide and approx. 60 mm high. The display, on the other hand, is only about 20 x 10 mm. The strengths of this device lie in the protective mechanisms such as overcharging, overvoltage or overcurrent. In addition, the internal battery can be charged even though a camera or smartphone, for example, is being supplied with power. I was able to quickly charge my smartphone via the USB-C as well as the USB-A socket. While the charging time via USB-C corresponded to that of my 220 V power supply, it was even a little faster via USB-A. Conclusion: very solid power dispenser with a sharp OLED display, but I would like it to be bigger. I'm not deducting a star because you can see this in the pictures before you buy it. With a capacity of 99 Wh and 6700 mAh, this battery provides reliable power for a variety of applications, whether traveling, photography or even powering mobile devices like smartphones. Portability is a major advantage of this battery, thanks to its mini V-Mount format and light weight. This makes it ideal for on the go, where every gram counts. Plus, two-way PD fast charging ensures fast charging, which is essential when I'm out in the field. Multiple ports, including D-Tap, USB-A, and USB-C, provide extensive connectivity, allowing me to power different types of devices simultaneously. For shooting video and still photography in remote locations I need to use equipment and power sources which are of sufficient quality and operate reliably. This K&F Concept V Mount Battery is sufficiently versatile for a wide range of power applications and in my experience it performs very well.

It is supplied with an instruction booklet and is compatible with both mini and regular V battery plates enabling it to attach to a compatible camera or V plate used with a videography rig. It can also be used much like a regular power bank for charging phones and other devices. The outer casing of the battery is a carbon fibre effect. It has the standard V batt BP terminals plus two D-Tap in/out, USB-A out, and one USB-C in/out.

I especially like the presence of the OLED display which clearly shows charging status and information relating to the power outlets while the battery is in use. Voltage output and remaining usage time are present in the display based upon amount of power being used by connected devices. It has support for multiple charging protocols including PD, QC, SCP, PPS, and APPLE-2.4A.

It can be charged with a suitable power source using the USB-C input or by my preferred method using a dedicated D-Tap charging unit. It certainly packs a lot of power into a relatively compact battery which is capable of 99Wh, operating at 14.8V.

I have been using it to power field monitors, audio recorders, COB lighting as well as charging a range of portable devices. In summary this is in my opinion a very good quality Mini V battery which is reasonably priced when taking into account the very useful display, capacity and wide compatibility. Over the last few weeks since it arrived It has performed flawlessly and I am confident to recommend.

I figured I was just going to get a camera, a battery, charging cable, and memory card but it came with an extra battery, external battery charger, neck lanyard, wrist lanyard, and protective pouch. The only thing I have a complaint about is that it isn’t USB-A or USB-C. But as for it’s job as a camera, I think it does the job

Can't really complain, it does the job for the price. The only thing I would improve is the battery charging capability via USB-C vs mini-USB (current)

The camera comes with two batteries, a charging cradle and a charging USB cable that can be used either to the battery in the camera or on the cradle. It also comes with a 32GB micro SD card and a mini SD card adapter. The batteries were good to go.

It was easy to set up and quite intuitive to use. It's very light and feels and looks cheap but takes decent photos. It can take videos too. Stabilization is fair.

It can be used as a webcam with a computer simply by long pressing the power and m (mode) buttons.
