This is a really nice dash cam. The setting up is a breeze. The suction cup mount is easy to use and really grips well. Simply plug it into the cigarette lighter, start the car, the dash cam records automatically, and powers off to stop and save the recording, and of course you can do it manually.

We did a road test with this camera on a trip to Boston from Vermont. The picture quality was superb.

This model dash cam also includes a rear window mount camera. Easy to mount and includes the connecting wire to the main dash cam. I can monitor simultaneously the front, inside and rear. It's awesome.

Excellent front, rear & inside dash cam. Fairly easy to hook up. It captures 3 views of your car - in front of, behind and inside the car, all at once. I didn't know you could get all of this at once and at such a good price. The camera is triggered by a motion or collision event. I do Like this dash cam for the quality but, I the rear window cam needs to be hard wired in. Also look at the name of the product for a hard wired front cam option as mine did not come with one and the booklet inside the box said the option to buy a hard wire. Overall not bad for the price, just not for me.

It's all easy to setup. Most of the effort goes in to hiding the wiring. This will very much depend on the vehicle.

You may need some automotive knowledge to install the rear camera. Particularly if you want to hook it up to your reversing lights in order to use as a parking camera, but this isn't really necessary.

The app works well and makes it easy to extract the footage and view/save it.

Overall for less than £70 it's great value and could save you thousands. Highly recommended.

We have a courier route on Sundays that takes about 10 hours and 300 miles. FINALLY got a dash cam as protection against "he said vs he said". Wanted front and rear, but didn't want to spend that much, so we bought 2 one direction dash cams. The picture is very clear, and the sound is as well (we haven't tested how well it picks up sounds from outside the car). It has a continuously updated: date/time stamp, speed, and gps coordinates. If you exceed SD card capacity, it will just loop, recording over the oldest recordings. (We bought 256GB cards, and one day (~9hrs of driving) doesn't even come close to filling it.) If you crash, or get hit while parked, it will record 5 battery minutes of video (longer if the car is still running) and protect it in a separate file so that it will not be recorded over. Must be plugged in to operate. (comes with both a 3ft and 8ft USB cords). Shuts off and starts up with the engine. Theoretically connects to the phone app via wifi, but I found this difficult to accomplish. Consequently, a bit of trial and error to get the rear camera pointing where it needed to be. But I absolutely recommend this camera to anyone wanting a relatively inexpensive dash cam. It works great, and is a great value.
