That's the nice thing about modern mirrorless system cameras: You can continue to use older lenses that were intended for analogue SLRs by connecting them to the camera using a manual adapter. This works very well, you even have a preselection aperture facility, ie you only set the aperture on the lens, only when you take the picture do you turn the aperture locking ring on the adapter to the position - very helpful. I can only recommend using "old" analog lenses on the new mirrorless ones! I bought a Canon FD 50mm macro, an FD 100mm macro, an FD 35-70 and an FD 80-200 for a few euros and I am extremely satisfied with the image quality on the 61 MP sensor of my Sigma FP L, even with 100% view on the monitor. The lenses mentioned are sharp to the edge. This turns out to be a myth that analog lenses cannot be used digitally because the resolution of these lenses is too low. bought the adapter to use my Canon EF 50 1.8 STM and my Canon EF 35 2.0 IS USM on my EOS M. The adapter fits perfectly on my EOS M. The lenses are almost too tight compared to the direct ones themselves, which suggests comparatively high manufacturing tolerances and is consistent with some other reports (hence only four out of five possible stars). Both lenses are fully functional and the autofocus also works perfectly. For example, I can't determine (without having measured this) that the EF lenses with the adapter focus more slowly on my EOS M than the original EFM lenses. I also find the low weight of the adapter very pleasant, so that at least my two EF lenses are not too top-heavy on the EOS M. Addendum on 04/26/2016: In the meantime I have to revise my first impression, because the adapter only seems to have been a little too tight at first. I've been shooting with an EOS 600D since 2012. I already own several Canon lenses. So have direct comparison options. Since I was looking for a new lens to film for my YouTube channel, I came across the Chinese product and was very skeptical. As it turned out, my skepticism was unfounded. I am amazed at how well the small, inexpensive lens harmonises with my Canon and as far as the film and image quality is concerned, I can only be amazed. The autofocus works audibly and relatively quickly. 2 of my Canon lenses can't do it faster either. The accuracy of the autofocus is also good. Only the sensitivity of the focus is almost a little "unstable". Small vibrations can sometimes throw the focus off course. But I don't mind. I can't say anything about durability yet. Will show. My conclusion...at the price you hardly do anything wrong. Recommended. Die-hard professionals will certainly still find points of criticism, but for me as an ambitious hobby clipper it is a real delight.

I can only recommend the adapter. I ordered the adapter to be able to use the lenses of my Canon A1 on my Canon EOS 400 D as well. Everything fits without any problems, nothing wobbles or jams, even though the lenses on my A1 are from different manufacturers
