ordered the K&F Concept K-Series 72MM MCUV Pro UV filter Slim MC for my 72mm lens. The K&F UV filter can be qualified as successful in terms of production. The filter is cleanly made without scratches in the glass etc. The thread is cleanly made and can therefore be screwed onto the lens cleanly. A sturdy box is supplied with the filter for storage and transport. The obligatory microfiber cloth is also included in the scope of delivery. But what does a UV filter actually do? Well, in this case it does exactly what the name suggests, it filters the UV rays out of the light. This used to be extremely important in analogue photography. With today's cameras, at least the higher-priced ones, the electronics can largely filter this out. Such filters are therefore mainly used to protect the lens.

I was allowed to test the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series polarizing filter 72mm, the flagship from K&F.
At the time of the offer, the CPL filter was around 150 euros, i.e. in the upper price segment for a screw-on filter.

The filter arrives at home elaborately and attractively packaged, it makes a very noble impression. It comes with a sturdy pouch (a mix of fabric and suede appliqués) which has a magnetic lid and is also lined with very soft material on the inside, which is also good because the filter is stored in this pouch almost naked. A band is guided outwards on the side. If you pull on this band, the filter is transported upwards. So the bag is already made very nice and noble. A welded-in microfiber cloth is also included in the scope of delivery.

The filter itself is very well made, the threads (on the lens side and on the front) are cleanly cut, so it can be screwed on without any problems. The glass shows no damage or flaws. However, what I noticed about this filter is that it is difficult to turn, in my opinion a bit too difficult. The problem becomes apparent when you use it, either you screw the filter really tight to the lens, or you turn it off again. This can get annoying when aligning the CPL, because I'm used to turning the filter back and forth for this. The optical performance of the filter is really very good, there are no color errors in the image. The CPL removes reflections from surfaces and gives a cloudy sky more contrast than one is used to from a CPL. There is no vignetting on my wide angle.

I would have loved to give the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series polarizing filter all 5 if it weren't for the difficult thing about adjusting the filter. With a filter (72mm) for about 150 euros, something like that shouldn't be in my opinion. Otherwise the filter is very good.

I have mounted the kit on a lens with the 72mm ring and it fits perfectly. It is easy to assemble and its handling is very simple, it does not require reading the instructions (I would say it is better not to read them) just looking at the illustrations is enough. Regarding the quality of the product, it seems to be made with good materials and the finish is excellent; The polarizing filter holder is very effective, placing the filter well and carefully, you do not touch it at all. There are two compartments for the square filters that I hope to get the most out of, I'm happy. As for the optical quality of the filters, I can't give an opinion because I haven't used them yet.

This is a solution for one of my pet peeves, taking filters off and on in the field. I always carry a CPL filter with me when doing a shoot, but it is difficult to take them off and on in the back of a Range Rover on the move. This one is protecting my Olympus 300mm f4.0 lens (UV) and allows me to quickly switch to the CPL when I need it. I ordered another set for my 72mm lenses. Great packaging, good carrying case and I'll be able to cover all my field lenses with the two sets. Extremely impressed with the ease of rotating the CPL filter. My lens cap stays on with no problem and can be either on the CPL or the bare magnetic mount. The magnet is very strong, the filters stay where you want them until you want them off.

I was looking for a cheap polarizing filter for my Canon 24-105 lens and tried this inexpensive part. Delivery arrived quickly and well packaged. The filter turns a light blue sky into a beautiful, almost dark blue sky. The colors are rich and have a slightly orange complexion. You have to sacrifice 2 apertures, which is common. The adjustment is severe but good. I'm very satisfied.

The K&F Concept Pro (72mm) filter is just one of many polarizing filters I own and have tried over the years. This filter is immediately noticeable due to its polarization decency and absolutely even polarization distribution over the entire filter surface. The workmanship is very good. In short: a must for landscape photography, especially in autumn and winter.
