bought this filter for my 50mm Canon 1.8 (49mm diameter). I decided to buy it to protect the lens from scratches and dust and to have a higher contrast in the photos. The purchased filter fully copes with these tasks, in addition, the materials are resistant and the price is very competitive compared to filters from other brands. I recommend buying.

I am obsessed with this filter. The fact that it’s an all in one just got me. I use it on my 50mm lens on my Canon R6 and my pictures turn out so crisp! I love that I don’t have to unscrew it to put a different one on — just twist and you’re good! Very impressed with this.

First of all, one thing is important for me to say: "Without experience and if you only shoot in JPG without the possibility of post-processing in RAW format, you won't get such pictures!" I used the lens on an old Eos 500D. The photos I uploaded here were all shot in manual mode as raw and then edited in Lightroom 6 and exported with the highest level of detail. I used autofocus as well as manual focus here. To date I have shot 200 photos. Absolutely impressed what you get here for around 50€. In my opinion it is in no way inferior to the original Canon and I am very, very, very picky when it comes to technical hardware of any kind. Now all that remains is to prove its longevity. To classify my rating, here are my cameras that I otherwise use/have used: - EOS 100D with 50mm 1.8 STM from Canon & 24mm 2.8 from Canon. - Samsung system camera with K&F Concept 85mm 1.4. - Sony RX100 MK1. - Eos 750D with 50mm 1.8 MK1 from Canon.

Well, I'm new to photography, my camera is a used Canon EOS 450D and I was recommended at various workshops as a beginner to use a lens with a fixed focal length. So I first ordered the 50mm lens and was so excited that I also ordered the 35mm lens right away. In my opinion, both take really great pictures, so I give a clear recommendation to buy both lenses.

think this 50mm 1.4 from Canon was one of my first prime lenses. I was and am impressed. Suddenly no longer zoom but move around the object. Sharpness like I've never had before. A level of sharpness that needs to be practiced. Very good to use with an open aperture and indescribably beautiful from aperture 4. A dream lens which, in my opinion, can still hold a candle to the 50mm 1.4 from SIGMA. Clear purchase recommendation. Must be in every lens collection...

bought the EF50mm primarily for street photography and am extremely satisfied with the performance in this area. Amazingly, this lens is actually sharper than the 50mm from the Canon L-series at an aperture of 5.6. The aperture of 1.4 and the associated light sensitivity is very pleasant. However, with an aperture of 1.4 you have to deal with a decent decrease in sharpness and - especially for indoor shots - with clear chromatic deviations. The bokeh is very nice and soft. Something special. The autofocus is fast, accurate and also quiet! The weight of 350 grams makes this lens a welcome lightweight in the bag and on the body. The price is unbeatable. You get a really good lens for everyday use for your money. Conclusion: Compared to the much more expensive 50mm from the Canon L series, I would always use this variant. My purchase recommendation for street and snapshots etc. if you don't absolutely need a red ring!

bought the Canon 50mm f/1.4 and sold my Canon 50mm f/1.8. The 1.4 is superior to the 1.8 in all respects. It looks more valuable and stable, the autofocus is faster and I would also describe the image performance as a bit better (although the f/1.8 is already very good here). I use the 1.4 on my Canon 5D MKII and am very satisfied. I've also been filming with my DSLR for a while now. The 50mm 1.4 is predestined for this. The blurred effect of a large aperture works particularly well in films (see video). Filming at portrait distance looks amazing. There is an exciting effect when you film people like this. Even in dark environments, the lens still lets enough light through when filming (due to the large aperture). - Ideal travel size and weight - Hardly any weight on the DSLR - In dark scenes, it still creates good pictures where other lenses have long since only delivered rejects - Faster and quieter autofocus - No stabilizer; In my opinion, you don't need it for photography either. It would be helpful when filming - super lens for DSLR filming (although the films usually have to be stabilized later with suitable means if you don't film on a tripod right away) Note: many people are surprised when they take photos with an aperture of 1.4 and then get annoyed about the lack of sharpness. Due to the design and the laws of optics, that's the way it is. You should know that. But of course the lens is also very good if you stop down a bit and then work with f/2.8. More expensive L lenses are certainly better in terms of sharpness, even at f/1.4. But in between there are no worlds but a lot of money. *** Conclusion *** A must-have lens in my collection. Great for both photography and filming. Clear purchase recommendation.

Good morning dear photo friends! I bought this lens yesterday, the Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM. I previously owned the f1.8 version of Canon's 50mm siblings and was actually very happy with it. Since I like to be hired as a photographer at family celebrations (my work is appreciated), it was only a matter of time (and money *grin*) before I would buy you a higher-quality version. Reasons for the change: - USM ensures better focusing in low light >>>> the f1.8 was happy to pump back and forth for a few seconds, snapshots were not possible - 8 instead of 5 aperture blades >>>> a lot nicer bokeh, after all I don't always want to have to take pictures with an open aperture so that the "balls" are round - haptic >>>> it's still plastic, but it feels much better! - constant intervention in the focusing possible >>>> the f1.8 could easily have been killed with it :S and if someone else had the camera in their hands *oh oh* - light intensity >>>> rather a nice-to- have I found the bokeh and USM autofocus to be the most important and both work perfectly and make me happy. :) Clear purchase recommendation!
