This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. Got this camera to spy on my cat and other animals in our backyard. It works great for wildlife too because those animals don’t see you anywhere near but you can see and hear them, and also capture them on video and take pictures of them. Works with solar batteries and requires no actual batteries or wiring. Great invention!

Right out of the box, this was ready to use. We had fun trying out the 6 slides that came with the microscope. Unlike a traditional microscope where you have to squint and look through a tiny eyepiece, this comes with a small digital screen that displays the slide or object that you are looking at. By looking at the screen together, you can point out features and interesting marks to your child and discuss them as you both see them. More importantly, this helps to open your child's eyes to the fact that there is so much more to this world than what we can see with just our eyes alone. We ran around the house looking at so many different things. This toy is a lot of fun. We had no issue operating it and it did drop a couple of times with no cracks or chips. It is pretty solid and well made, and yes, my child already lost one of the slides. It also came with 3 sheets of random stickers. I guess those are to decorate the microscope, but my child has placed them all on everything, except the microscope.

That works great. I got it for inspecting small components as I'm approaching 70 and the eyes aren't what they used to be. This shows all the details I need to see. But zoom? There aren't any, you can set the camera closer or further away and focus, that's all. I made a 3 inch extension for the stock so I can get a wider view. The lights work well too, but I've found that my LED flashlight can reveal details or show the script better if I play with the lighting angle. I am happy with this device.

This device is a solid amateur microscope. Professional devices are at least twice as expensive and only pay off if you work with them every day. The first use may show that the eyes are not at all suitable for a stereo microscope. Both eyes should have a similar visual acuity, a diopter adjustment is integrated in the eyepiece tube. The pupillary distance (distance between the eyes) must be greater than 55 mm. If they don't know any other way, many adults or even children don't even notice if they only have a two-dimensional view of the objects.
