The product looks good, excellent performance, but the tripod has only one screw fixing the camera on the release plate which - for the camera that I have - is too big. How do I get the right screw, the 3/8" screw?

thumb release to remove the camera from the tripod would be easier that the screw release.

The tripod is compact and lightweight. The mount is plastic which is a shame it would have been nice to have a metal one.

The camera movement is nice and smooth and it has a lot of position. The legs are strong and sturdy. It needs a counterweight when using the overhead and the hook for one isn't the best.

From the golden outer packaging comes a microfiber cloth wrapped in foil and the actual filter box. Inside is a filter that is oversized and heavy for the screw-in size. I have the filter in screw-in size 82mm and am testing it on the Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 2.8/24-70 with the Leica SL2s.

The mount has a grooved grip ring for screwing in, which protrudes about 1 cm over the filter mount. This makes it easy to grip and screw in or out. There is no fiddling when changing the filter and no dealing with filter clamps when the filter is stuck! The manufacturing quality of the mount is excellent. The entire front frame of the filter has to be twisted to adjust the strength of the polarization. The screw-in knurled ring must be held in place because the rotation of the polarizing filter is difficult. The difficulty is not a design or manufacturing defect, but is for the 2nd function of the Filter is required, namely the darkening from factor 2 to 32, which is adjusted in the front part of the filter holder with 2 relatively large and easy-to-grip levers. If the polarizing filter adjustment were smoother, it would rotate with the ND adjustment.

The overhang of the filter holder makes a larger filter glass possible than with conventional screw-in filters, so that the thick filter does not vignette even at a 24mm focal length. The filter glass is visibly multi-layer coated; a water-repellent nano coating is applied to the front. The original lens cap can be snapped into the filter! All of this gives the impression of a very careful and well-considered design.

Polarizing and ND filters work as usual. There is no particular susceptibility to reflections and stray light. I cannot detect any impairment of the sharpness or an explicit color cast of the lenses. Of course, using the polarizing filter outdoors causes intentional color changes by filtering out the sky reflections, which means that, for example, green plants have a lower blue and a higher yellow component.

One basic problem with using the polarizing filter with mirrorless system cameras remains: except for reflections aimed at at an angle, the strength of the filter effect is practically undetectable on the OLED viewfinders. Landscape photographers who prefer polarizing filters are therefore recommended to use a DSLR with a mirror, in whose natural viewfinder image even small rotations of the polarizing filter are clearly visible. But this is not a fault of this filter, but rather affects polarizing filters in general.

Conclusion: A very carefully and practically constructed double filter at a very attractive price in comparison!

I bought the carbon tripod because I finally wanted a ball head :-). The tripod is incredibly light and yet very stable. The screw caps are easy to open and then tighten again. The camera sits great on the ball head and is then super adjustable. The fixing screws are smooth-running and yet very easy to fix. 1.: Unfortunately for me there are 2 small weaknesses in the product: The clamps for adjusting the tripod feet rattle incredibly. I always have to worry that the clamps will fall off. 2.: When the camera is attached to the plate on the ball head mount, the spirit level is on the side of the display, which I think is ok. BUT the knob for attaching the plate is then on the side of the lens. With my Sigma, however, the rotary knob is almost on the lens. There are only 10ths to 100ths between the rotary knob and the lens. Socket for mounting EF cinema lenses on Fuji x-t3, it does its job. I would have liked there to be a screw mount to support the lens from the back as well. For the main lenses, the adapter plays a bit of play on the Fuji mount. Even if the owner Regilent is mounted on the bars.

I have an older, vintage camera tripod that I've been using for several years. It was much more expensive than this one. The K&F Concept 70"/177cm Portable Tripod is just as sturdy and a much better value. For heavier cameras, I always look for the hook at the center of the tripod because sometimes in outdoor conditions, I like to hang a sandbag to make sure it doesn't get blown away by the wind. The legs extend with no issues and there is a bubble level near the camera mount. This is much nicer in quality engineering than I had expected especially due to the smoothness of the moving parts. You can mount your camera very high, so this would work well in environments like auditoriums where you will need a higher perspective. This is much more light than my old one and it comes with it's own nylon storage/carrying bag. Thankfully, it takes the standard 1/4" threading on the mount and they were nice enough to include a cell phone adapter, so it's for versatile use.I find the K&F Concept 70"/177cm Portable Tripod to be a fair to good value. I've seen similar tripods as reviews and they were lacking in engineering and quality of materials.
