I tend to view these mobile phone lens adapters as gimmicky plasticy junk that just sits in a drawer somewhere after being used exactly once... 9 times out of 10 that is the case. Not this time! This cool device essentially turns your phone camera into a digital microscope. The addition of a ring light around the lens is crucial here and the execution is well thought out. The ring light enables your subject to be in full light even when the lens is literally sitting on top of the object you are viewing. I used a piece of cloth as an example. The first image is at the standard 1x from my Pixel 8 Pro. The second image is using the same 1x camera on my phone but with this 150x lens adapter in front of it. The results are insane and totally unexpected! I can't wait to try this lens out on more objects around my home. Highly impressed! 5/5

►This is something that I never expected to see since I use DSLR and lenses.
Honestly now, it makes a massive difference.
I am not talking about the filters because you can find these any time, I am saying here about the system itself which I find to be absolutely brilliant!

How easy is now? Very very easy and I explain why.
I use filters for filming outside which sometimes can be challenging because of the light, the sun comes up from the clouds, manual settings, everyting over exposed which is very bad for video.

►My lens diameter is 67mm so I got those. You have to screw the ring and then based on what you want to get you just have to attach the filters.........you DONT have to screw them one by one which saves you a lot of time.

Now, the advantage?
You avoid moving your camera is you want to change the filter!!! This is the most important feature I would say!!
I keep my camera in one spot and 100% doesnt have to move AT ALL!! So with this magnetic system i just remove one filter and add another, easy as that. I dont have to screw anything!!!

►What you get? A nice pouch, a filter ring(the magnetic one), 1 uv filter, 1 cpl and one ND1000. You already know what they do because you are all photographers so its easy.

Build quality? Good, clean design, slim filters, nice pouch(has a ring so you can attach it to the bag, tripod and so on.

►VERY IMPORTANT!!
You cannot attach all 3 filters at the same time!!
ONLY one by one so dont try to attach more because they might fall and you damage them.

How strong is the magnet?
Once attached to the lens even if you run with the camera in your hand you will not lose the filter so dont worry.

►Easy to remove? I would recommend to use both hands to make sure you remove the filters properly.
The most interesting filter for my type of work is the ND1000, makes a massive difference. I dont have to explain things like filming at f2.8 when it is bright outside + shutter at 60 for 30fps because you already know what I am talking about.

Make sure you choose the right filter size, check and double check your lens size.

bought the adapter because I also want to use my existing Nikon lenses on the new BMPCC4K. Since the vast majority of lenses have an aperture lever, they can also be used although they do not have a separate aperture ring (lenses without an E-mark!). The adapter makes a very valuable impression. It is made of metal and feels good in the hand. It easily connects to the camera and lens. I haven't found any game so far. If this occurs during use and possibly leads to scattered light, I will provide an update. The adapter is delivered in a small plastic box. This makes it easy to store or transport when not in use. The silver ring is used to set the aperture. However, there are no numbers, only a symbol for an open and one for a closed aperture. But you can see directly on the display how turning the ring affects the brightness. So I don't miss numbers. In addition, I have read on other adapters with numbers on the ring that these values are not as finely graded as the numbers make it seem. I am very happy with this adapter. Of course, you lose light intensity because every assembly between the lens and the sensor "swallows" light. But this adapter only costs a fraction of what a Speed Booster costs. Also, you can't get a speed booster with contacts for Nikon lenses. No information is passed on to the camera, so you have to set everything manually even when using a speed booster. I can highly recommend this adapter to anyone who can get along with a somewhat lower light intensity.

First impressions: - good looking - fine workmanship - matte interior finish (light doesn't jump in) - smooth conformance to camera body - smooth shift rotating One ring - comes in an unsealed hard case and nothing else on it - out of the box with any vintage Nikon mount usable lenses - orange ring gives the looks to the whole camera setup - the adapter fits harder on the lenses (needs to be attached) - focus is based more on the depth of field (FOD) difference in the picture frame - it works more like zone focusing and precession focus zones are heavy to reach - metal mount on lens side and (I think it's still a metal) black plastic which looks nice, camera charcoal mount (it's passive adapter and therefore no electrical communication between lens and camera) - light doesn't get through the adapter into the Barrel (sealed fit) - it should come with end caps to the adapter to keep dust out when not in use - for the money I paid I like experimenting with my old lenses on the Sony mirrorless body

And I want to respond to the comment that suggests losing the diaphragm. I disagree. I'm a professional photographer and just ran tests, I don't notice any loss of light. In this type of test it is necessary to be very rigorous, there are several possible approaches and I will give you one of them. 1/ Eliminate any outdoor light source that is constantly changing. I used LED lighting so I let the temperature rise nicely. 2/ To check the aperture of the lens you want to use, take a lens with an external aperture ring (I used a Nikon 50mm f/1.4D) on the adapter ring side. In this case it is important to set it to the closed position. It is the lens that takes control of the aperture. I set it to an aperture of 5.6. 3/Don't leave the sensitivity on auto (I set it to 400 ISO) 4/Take a photo of a very specific scene (you must have the same frame for the second photo) 5/Remove the ring and set a Fuji XF lens on the camera (I used the 16x50mm kit lens on the aperture first, or manual, of course the same aperture here 5.6). 6/ Take a picture of the scene (identical framing) and compare the speeds between the two photos. With a Fuji X-T10, the photo with the ring was darker, but the speed was faster. At the same speed, the photos are the same, so no loss of light. Now you should also know that each lens can have real differences in aperture compared to advertised values. Also, be careful when comparing speeds with another device. It is very likely that you have differences. Fuji, for example, cheats with the announced sensitivities. If it tells you ISO 200 you are actually at +- 120 ISO. Worse still, with an Olympus OMD EM10 I notice speed differences that can easily be doubled with a Nikon D800 (so 6400 iso Olympus = 3200 ISO on a Nikon D800 for example). Anyway, when a manufacturer announces that his device starts at 200 ISO and at 100 ISO there is a loss of dynamics, I understand that he is cheating on his 200 ISO, it is 100. Coming back to this ring: Personally, I don't find any flaws in it , except maybe its weight (130 g).

This adapter is used to use an A-mount lens on E-mount cameras (in my case a Sony Alpha 6100).
The construction is good, it weighs just enough to notice that it is a quality product, it works perfectly.

You have to keep in mind that with the adapter you will have to use everything manually, that is, manual focus is obvious, but something I did not know is that the adapter comes with a ring to close or open the diaphragm but it does not show the step diaphragm (1.8, 2.8, 3.5, etc).
In the camera as you move the ring it will not appear which diaphragm is being used either, specifically in my camera it says F/0.0, even so, you can use the aperture priority mode and the camera calculates the shutter speed without problems.

This ring light is amazing! I bought it for work as I am always on video calls. My room is quite dark naturally so when I am on camera I always used to look grainy and dull but with this ring light I look way better. There is a power on button, with the ring light offering 3 different tones of light which you adjust with the mode button, and also 2 other control buttons to adjust the brightness of each tone of light. Very straight forward and easy to use at an affordable price that is actually good quality! Comes with a mini tripod but also a separate clip on component so you can slot it easy on your laptop over the camera. Would highly recommend
