This little camera is a great value for the buck. I now own several that are being utilized as trail cameras and security on a small farm. I can depend on these cameras to perform well in all climates. Had several of them for a few years and they have out lasted my Mountie and several other “big” name cameras.

not with this security camera - you can choose between the cloud or install your own micro sd card for video files that are saved as 5-minute clips in mp4, timestamped and dated so you can easily transfer to your mac/pc and browse footage in real time instead of streaming it (this can be cumbersome on a poor internet connection). I have 6 security cameras from this brand that use the same app, so I can easily swipe between all the cameras in different locations. I do Like this dash cam for the quality but, I the rear window cam needs to be hard wired in. Also look at the name of the product for a hard wired front cam option as mine did not come with one and the booklet inside the box said the option to buy a hard wire. Overall not bad for the price, just not for me.

the problem i have with the above is it will not stay on all all the time when
driving . i have check the wire and that is ok i have had it hard wired also checked USB lose wire still stops and starts

I was originally hoping to pair this with my car's head unit over Bluetooth, and that somehow my existing steering wheel controls would work with it. No joy - this unit can only use bluetooth to connect to the phone. Backup plan - connect to the car radio over FM. I didn't realize it, but there is SOME FM signal almost everywhere on the spectrum where I live, so there was always interference. So I hard-wired the unit to my car. The unit boots quickly - about 15 seconds - and wireless carplay works flawlessly. I plugged in the external mic, but it's not working well yet. Carplay has real issues interpreting what I say when I try to dictate texts etc, but I think I need to keep playing with microphone location. All in all, I can use the screen to show maps while navigating, it helps me avoid holding my phone to text while driving, and it's what I wanted.

I have in service or have used other wireless and wired WIFI cams. This camera has met all my expectations that i was looking for. It is wireless, and solar powered therefore no wires to run. It is relatively compact it is not an eye sore. It gyrates so i can monitor my front yard as needed,it is not focused on a single area. The night vision and motion detection is okay. The app is loaded with functions and setttings and very easy to use and runs very smooth. It is bit pricey for my taste. But overall i am happy with this camera.

I had tried all types of security cameras including really expensive ones. They were too complicated and unreliable! This one is easy to use and unexpensive, who would have guessed it?
