Best camera for the price. This camera is much smaller than those I used, but the video quality is great.

I needed a video monopod for a lightweight camera. I knew the Cayer was a good option in terms of price and quality, but I hadn't personally tried these two-in-one kits.

I'm very happy, for a little more price (from 110€ for the normal monopod to 140€ for the tripod/monopod) I have both. A monopod that works well with a mirrorless DSLR or in my case a medium sized fs5 type video camera. In addition, as a tripod, it is very suitable as a second tripod for a fixed plane that does not move much. Still, the bread and the tilts are good for them.

If you need a professional tripod to use as your main tripod, you may need to go for a more expensive tripod. However, if you want a well-designed monopod that you can double use as a secondary tripod, this is a hit.

In fact, I couldn't see it until the monopod arrived (without using the center pole), it stays around 1.7m. For me it's a perfect height, but with another extension you can go even higher.

I am getting older so this kf concept Basic monopod allows me to cover some of my B-roll DSLR video needs without lugging a full tripod all the time. You have to do your part vis-a-vis remaining still, but this was well worth the price.

Ordered this sometime around Oct 2021 and the camera ended up shorting out sometime around June/July. I contacted the seller and they sent a new one right away. I find myself shooting more and more video with my cameras. While with the advent of modern optical image stabilization, handheld video can be of very high quality, holding a camera (and particularly a not-particularly-lightweight DSLR) still for any amount of time becomes tiring, and the video will suffer as a result.Hauling around a full-size tripod is tiring and a hassle. This monopod is the perfect answer. Your camera quickly attaches to the top, you extend the telescopic leg to the required height, and you have perfectly stable video without the fatigue of holding your camera in place.The leg itself is made of hollow aluminum with three friction locks to lock the individual telescoping pieces in place. Once locked, it is very sturdy, with no movement of any kind. You can adjust the overall length to any height you wish - it locks into position once you extend it to the height you desire.The thick foam grip allows you to easily control steady, smooth panning motion, and you can do a bit of tilt as well by pushing the monopod forward or back. I did purchase a small ball joint adapter to screw to the top, which allows the camera to move independently of the monopod when more flexibility is required.The foot of the monopod is rubber, and the rubber foot can be screwed in, exposing a metal point, good for use on slippery surfaces such as ice.While useful for shooting steady video, it is also excellent for shooting in low light with slow shutter speeds where any movement turns the picture blurry, or for long telephoto shots where slight camera movement can introduce blur into the picture.Some people have reported problems with the threaded screw at the top coming loose and not being able to remove the camera, I have not experienced this issue.The monopod comes with a fitted carrying bag with an attached shoulder strap. Once collapsed, measuring around 18 inches long, you can put it in the bag, sling it over your shoulder and pretty much forget it's there.I haven't tried it, but looking at the solid foot (and metal spike) as well as the thick foam grip, I've thought more than once that it could also function as a walking stick. So if you're looking for an inexpensive, light, portable walking stick, perhaps this might be an option.Overall a good purchase, I'm glad I bought it - and my videos are much better for it!

Been using same filter in various thread sizes for multiple lenses since Feb, 2021. Good threads. Easy to attach. Suggest you go easy when attaching any screw-on filter. Take it slow to keep from having problems attaching. Have taken some excellent, dramatic sunrise and other landscape shots. Couldn’t be happier. Will update if I experience any issues in the future.

Best Tripod out there.

I bought this tripod for a couple of events shooting video and stills. Did not want to go cheap as I need it to withstand travelling and being thrown about/bumped into, but did not want to spend a fortune as it will be thrown about and bumped into!! I chose this one as it is tall, so I can shoot above the heads of a crowd if needed and also has a detachable monopod.

First impressions when it arrived was how solid it felt, not very heavy but more solid. The bag that comes with it is really well made, it is not just a thin cheaply made freebie, but a good quality storage bag with a comfortable strap.

I noticed how smooth the legs unfolded and the center column rises and falls, the engineering is good and everything is tight and positively locks in place.

Two of the best features that you don’t see on many tripods are that you can lock the ball head, but has a separate screw that loosens to let you pan, and also the way the center column can be changed to horizontal. I did this and it gives a better and smoother pan (more control for video), also good for landscape photography when creating a panorama.

I am 6’3” (190cm) tall and even when I stand on my toes I cannot see through the viewfinder when fully extended, it is a tall tripod!! It closes up to a really compact size, the center column inverts so the camera can be placed almost on the floor if needed.

The only negative I have is that the instructions are very basic. It gives the use, setup and warnings but there is another small tube and screw that I have worked out is used when changing to monopod. It is not a big issue and can easily be worked out, but with the quality and detail in the rest of the product I think that this could be better.

The most important thing is that I feel confident putting my expensive camera and lens on this tripod without any worries. I would definitely replace it with the same model if this one was stolen.
