This is not an astronomy camera, it's a general purpose battery-powered, image-stabilized audio/video color camera. It communicates with your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. I dreagged out a rescued-from-the-trash 102mm el-cheapo refractor, clamped the camera on its eyepiece, and quickly focused on a fake windmill three miles away. I also tried shooting right into the low-angle sun glare in the ocean and the camera didn't blink (like I did)--the automatic gain control took it in stride. Mind you, the telescope made things seem close, not the camera--all it does is replace your eye. This is good because that means you can clamp it onto anything you might look through, such as a riflescope or microscope, or even just point it out the window. Set up is a little fiddly, but if you've hooked up a camera with its own WiFi hotspot it will be a snap. Select the camera wifi hotspot in your camera's settings and then use the app. In short, if you like cool stuff, this is well worth the money.

Build quality is about average so I would put this in the range of a budget camera that says it's waterproof so it can be used all year round. I cannot comment on value for money as this is listed as unavailable at the time of writing. I would recommend doing a full charge via the USB cable before attaching and setting up. Then the solar panel should help maintain the battery level depending on the position and the number of sunny days. I've found that the solar panel doesn't work at all on cloudy days, so a lot depends on where you live and if it's south facing. Movement and recording times, as well as various other options, can be accessed through the app. I always prefer recording locally to the cloud, so I fitted a 128GB SD card and formatted it ready for use. If required, this provides the option for cloud recording at a low monthly cost. Since this is a PTZ camera, it can be panned and tilted in any useful direction from the smart device. The image can also be zoomed but I find the quality drops so I wouldn't normally use it. Overall this is a very nice budget security camera kit with the added benefit of including a solar panel which reduces the number of charges. This must be taken into account when comparing prices. The HD picture is at 1080p and streams over 2.4GHz WiFi without too many hiccups, this depends on the router setup of roughly. Along with a fairly decent daytime image, this also has an automatic night mode using infrared, which again is clear enough to be able to spot identifying features if needed. I found this to be far better than some other budget cameras I've used that could only see at night what I could see looked like blurry ghosts lol. If you can't run from mains power or just need the convenience of a cordless option, you can't go wrong with this set. However, I will say that a mesh option is always the best way to go, if at all possible.

He is a photographer and has used some of their products in the past and seemed very happy with them. After a few hours of research, this camera seemed to be the only one that had all the features I was looking for, so I figured I should give it a try.
Just like the specs, you get everything they claim. The camera has a built-in high-capacity battery, so you will never run out of power. This is also guaranteed by the solar panel that you bring together. Both are waterproof and suitable for outdoor use, which is amazing.

When it comes to storage you have a micro SD slot that supports up to 128GB or if you prefer you can store your footage via the cloud service. Obviously you would have to pay a monthly fee.

However, what I like the most is the pan/tilt/zoom feature, which allows you to control a very large area remotely from the mobile app. The footage is in 1080p, so it's very clear even with night vision. Another great feature is the PIR sensor, which is optimized to reliably detect humans and large pets, and you can change its sensitivity in the app too. Night vision is both black and white and color thanks to the floodlights installed on the front of the camera.

Connectivity is via your WiFi. So if you are planning to buy more than one camera, you need to make sure during installation that they are within your WiFi range and have a strong signal, otherwise they will not work properly. Or you can buy a WiFi extender.

The app that controls the device is very user friendly and easy to install for the less tech savvy. And you can basically control everything from within. You can share the device with other people, check the battery status and change the energy saving settings. Change Motion Detection Sensitivity You can take screenshots or record videos whenever you want. You can even set time periods for the camera to detect motion and record videos. Basically everything you can think of is in this app.

The only downside I could find is that it's a bit pricey. I've used a few RING cameras in the past and they've been really good and a bit cheaper. But none of them had all these functions. So if you're looking for a security camera that has it all and is willing to pay the price for it, this is probably your best bet.

I figured I was just going to get a camera, a battery, charging cable, and memory card but it came with an extra battery, external battery charger, neck lanyard, wrist lanyard, and protective pouch. The only thing I have a complaint about is that it isn’t USB-A or USB-C. But as for it’s job as a camera, I think it does the job

An absolute gem with the latest and innovative technology. It is the best security camera I have that is completely wireless, self contained and has a solar panel to charge the battery so I don't have to take it off every 2 months to recharge.

What a nice design as the plastic used for this unit is a high quality material and comes with all the hardware, including a paper template for drilling holes to ensure a perfect installation. It also comes with an extra USB cable just in case you need to charge it with a USB charger, but my camera was 100% charged when it arrived, which shows that when it's off, there's no battery drain and it doesn't self-discharge.

What I love most is that it has a fully motorized head, so you can pan the head in all directions with your phone to check what's going on outside. I am very impressed with this feature because all 4 of the security cameras I have are only mounted in one direction, so you can only see in one direction. So I had 2 cameras in the front and one in the back and side of the house. This one camera will cover my whole house front and/or back. No waste of expensive electricity either, as it is completely self-sufficient in power thanks to the solar panel that comes with it, which also protects it from harsh weather as a shield or canopy.

The only thing missing from this package is a Micro SD/TIFF card and you're good to go. Very simple and straightforward installation. Just make sure your router is set to 2.4 wireless protocol during installation.

I say this is the first battery powered camera I've bought. I was skeptical but pleasantly satisfied.
It is made of materials that are comfortable to the touch and feel sturdy in the hand.
Movements that can be controlled via the app are smooth and precise.
The battery lasts a long time, and the remaining power is more than sufficient even on days without sun or rain.
The clip to be attached to the wall facilitates installation, the same applies to the solar panel.
I can absolutely recommend the purchase! !
