A lot of very subjective opinions on technical devices meet here and in a scene that has to fight against very good image results with smartphones. The adapter ring is solidly made and fits perfectly on both sides of the products to be combined. On the camera side, the Nikon D5300 with 24M pixels is mounted on a 3/4 sensor. The occasional purchase of older lenses with a 42mm thread is then the experimental part of the hobby. For example, a purely analog Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 2.8 / 180mm finds its place and no longer has to stand in the closet. The mechanical connection via the adapter is very stable, the compensation of the focal length works with the camera's not full-format sensor and the image is good to very good for such an old lens. A useful adapter for anyone who wants to use old lenses on new cameras.
