This is not an astronomy camera, it's a general purpose battery-powered, image-stabilized audio/video color camera. It communicates with your smartphone or tablet via WiFi. I dreagged out a rescued-from-the-trash 102mm el-cheapo refractor, clamped the camera on its eyepiece, and quickly focused on a fake windmill three miles away. I also tried shooting right into the low-angle sun glare in the ocean and the camera didn't blink (like I did)--the automatic gain control took it in stride. Mind you, the telescope made things seem close, not the camera--all it does is replace your eye. This is good because that means you can clamp it onto anything you might look through, such as a riflescope or microscope, or even just point it out the window. Set up is a little fiddly, but if you've hooked up a camera with its own WiFi hotspot it will be a snap. Select the camera wifi hotspot in your camera's settings and then use the app. In short, if you like cool stuff, this is well worth the money.

My telescope is small and lightweight, and so is the equatorial mount that holds it. This very lightweight camera mounts directly on the telescope eyepiece without any cable attachments during use. It didn't upset the balance or tracking of the telescope and mount, and it was easy to set up. Overall, I was very pleased with how the camera worked during the eclipse and I look forward to using it more in the future.

If you or someone you know is really into astronomy and/or astrophotography, but is past the beginner's stage, this is getting will get you through the amateur stage. We have used this to view the eclipse, UFO landing on the moon (just kidding) and the mountain peaks near us. And taking pictures with our iPhones is a great memory.

I bought this tripod to mount my Celestron 20x80 astronomy binoculars on. It works great! I'm 6"5" tall and I can stand at full height and use the tripod with the binoculars mounted on it. It's easy to move the binoculars up & down and side-to-side. I couldn't believe the flexibility the tripod provides in height adjustment. Definitely worth the price.

This is not my first tripod which I have tried and tested for its function. From flexible to spikes to multifunctional mounts, everything was there, well-known brands had everything in hand and actively tested. Here I have to honestly admit that the system and the structure are of course similar, but here I really hold a sensible tripod in my hand. What I particularly like I think it's cool that the accreditation rod for the camera can also be easily turned around so that I can practice micro photography and or tree hand videos etc. PP to boxing and so on and immediately. The built-in spirit level is of course an advantage in other tripods, but it is not a unique selling point, but I have to say that every setting can be made very, very finely, which makes the perfectionist in me scream hooray. All in all, I have played and tested different Cinar Yen and I have to say that there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. A very clear purchase recommendation from me. We unpacked the 10-30x50 telescope and found everything as described. The hand tripod and the mobile phone holder are made of plastic. The very light tripod has a stable ball head and is sufficiently stable. It should, too, if you want to attach your cell phone and the holder to it. The table tripod alone is quite useful. The mobile phone holder is more of a gimmick that we would not use in practice. It takes a relatively long time before we had attached and aligned the mobile phone together with the holder on the telescope. The picture that you get on your cell phone is very difficult to focus on. Due to the distance between the optics, the image naturally has wide vignetting and can only be seen as a small circle. We have not yet been able to get a photo image like in the advertisement with a mobile phone holder on a telescope. As with all mounts of this type, the whole construction is very sensitive to touch. The telescope itself makes a good impression. It is robustly built and feels good in the hand. Settings run smoothly and evenly. Once positions have been set, they don't change so easily by themselves when you carry them around. The image sharpness is satisfactory in every zoom range. Two rubber caps are included to protect the optics. They fit their positions tightly. Conclusion: Robust and handy telescope. weatherproof (No rain has penetrated) Good optical properties. Sharpness and zoom settings work well.

Debated entirely too long but eventually purchased. Get this tripod. I'm just an amateur for sure but I use you'd with my telescope and camera. RedCat 51 and Nikon to give you an idea. Exceeds all expectations.

Product arrived in a brown manufacturer box. I'm not sure if it's brand new. The telescope itself is easy to assemble and use. The tripod is little flimsy and the swivrl part is not good. The viewing angle could be uncomfortable. I was able to see Saturn, Jupiter and 4 of its moons. Not a bad telescope but buying something more powerful would be better.
