It's pretty amazing to me that you can get an 82mm UV filter with 18 layers of coating for only $20. As far as I can tell, there is no loss of contrast or color shift. If anything, you may experience different reflection patterns at certain angles (which I'm a fan of) and will experiment with that. A UV filter not only protects your lens, but also makes the front element waterproof. And if you've had a chance to play around with magnetic filters before, it works just fine with those too. I plan on buying a few more of these so I always have them on my lenses so I can swap/stack my other magnetic filters in seconds. Highly recommend!

A decent ND1000 82mm filter provided with an excellent carry case.I found this filter excellent when properly screwed on to my lens, vignetting was visable when not properly fitted. It is quite shallow which also helps here.Shots displayed are taken with Nikon Z6 & 14-30mm S line lens I had to stop down to F10 for 20secs & F13 20secs both shots ISO 50 to avoid blowing out the sun, shadows recovered in post processing.The filter was very easily wiped clean after being splashed by a wave, I think the coating definitely helped here.I am quite pleased with the product its defintely much better than my old 72mm

I ordered this K&F Concept 82mm Variable Fader ND2-32 ND Filter and CPL Circular Polarizing Lens Filter to reduce the number of items I carry with me on a landscape shoot.

When shooting landscapes, a neutral density filter can come in handy. It's the easiest way to create that smooth water effect for waterfalls, rivers, and other moving water. And, a polarizing filter helps to tame reflections that would otherwise detract from your images. This filter from K&F combines these two types of filter into a single screw-on attachment.

I ordered this is the 82mm size (so that it would fit my largest lens) and I'll use step rings for smaller lenses. Operating is pretty easy. You use your fingers to rotate the CPL and you use the attached knows to rotate the variable ND filter. Based on meter readings, you'll get about a 6 stop reduction in exposure when the ND filter is set to max and the CPL is adjusted. With the ND set to minimum, you'll see about a stop and a half or so of exposure reduction.

I did not notice the X pattern that appears so frequently with variable ND filters. However, that tends to happen more with wide angle lenses, and a friend is using mine so I wasn't able to test that out. Color rendition is pretty neutral. I did not notice any reduction in sharpness, nor did I experience significant flaring. Unfortunately, it's not possible to use a lens hood when this filter is attached. Also, you need to know that the front diameter of the filter is greater than the rear diameter. For example, if you order the 82mm version of this filter, your 82mm lens cap will not fit. Instead, you'll need an 86mm lens cap. Be sure to look at the chart in the listing so that you know what specific size of lens cap you'll need for the filter size you purchase.

Most of my filters are 82mm in diameter, but I have several lenses with a 77mm filter thread, so I need this adapter for them. It feels good, is very thin and does exactly what I need it to do, so I'm very happy with it.

I only got these for the lens caps... I don't use the Keepers and already have an awkwardly sized bag full of new microfiber cloths as they seem to come with almost everything these days.

BUT since I have many lenses with smaller filter ring diameters that I size down to 77mm by using step-up rings so they share a common filter size, I often run into shooting with an unprotected 77mm filter on the end of mine rigs around.

This is exactly the quality you would want from them. Nothing fancy but perfectly functional and easy to use/operate with one hand without looking. The set of three is useful because I need at least that many and will definitely lose them over time in the black holes that are my pockets.

tried it on my last shoot for one of the biggest brands and it worked perfectly! helped me make the place look more interesting and have the focus on the topic! It is a bit difficult to work with such filters as not every lens gives unique results. However, when you hit the mark in combination with the right lighting, it works so well. I also got the anamorphic filter and can't wait to use it on a new shoot! Other points worth emphasizing: I have invested heavily in the competing brand prismlens fx; I own almost every filter but one thing they are missing is the 82mm filter and K&F Concept hit the spot by offering their filters in 82mm. A reduction from 82mm to 77mm presents no problems, whereas 77mm to 82mm creates a lot of vignetting.

As far as I can tell, I think the filters are of very good quality and also properly processed.
