Stay protected
Some say you don't need this with digital photography, but I've always bought a UV filter to cover my entire lens. No more worries about fingerprints or dirt and dust getting on the lens. Great price and packaged very well, love the case it comes in.

Another good K&F product for my R50
recently got my first modern digital camera, a Canon R50 with a kit lens, along with an RF 24-240 lens. I'm a bit clumsy and had immediately picked up a K&F UV filter for my lens as damage protection. It helped modestly to remove haze in landscape shots in SF Bay, but added some ghosting in low light shots (common with UV filters) and is mostly unnecessary on modern digital cameras... As I mentioned, I leave it on to protect my expensive lens. As soon as I saw this CPL, I ordered it so I can switch between them depending on the situation. When I'm shooting on/near water or on/through glass, I put this filter on to get better, clearer shots. I'm still working on my photographer's eye, but so far I've noticed no additional distortion of color or clarity. As far as the features and build quality go, it feels very high quality for the price. It doesn't bend or flex if I don't thread it correctly, so I haven't threaded it wrong even after 10-15 installations. The hydrophobic properties are good too - I got caught by a sprinkler and the filter shed all but a few tiny beads of water, which were easily removed with a swipe of a microfiber cloth.

Excellent filter, K&F quality, includes useful extras at a reasonable price
have been a fan of K&F Filters and many of their other photography products for some time and have come to appreciate the brand's durability and quality. Most of my lenses live their life with a K&F Concept UV protection filter on the front. I have sufficiently tested the transmittance and sharpness of K&F UV filters in the past, so I now consider them a trusted brand. I am confident in their quality. And that's the point, right? In my opinion, they are a trustworthy seller. I needed a protection filter for a 24mm-70mm zoom lens I recently purchased. The ultra-thin frame of the MCUV filter is what caught my eye and the reason I ordered it. And for that reason, it worked well. When the lens is set to the widest focal length, 24mm, the Ultra Slim Filter does not affect the image area. Therefore, it does not cause vignetting. UV filters are effective when shooting on film, although some emulsions are/have been formulated to be insensitive to UV light. However, they offer little to no additional benefit when capturing with a digital sensor. Modern digital sensors record the entire spectrum of visible light unfiltered, as well as portions of the invisible infrared and ultraviolet light spectra. To record only visible light, so photos look like how we see the world, digital camera manufacturers install what is called an IR-cut hot mirror filter over the digital sensor and Bayer array. Digital cameras sold without this filter are called a "full spectrum camera." If you're not sure if your camera is full spectrum, it isn't. That means you don't need to filter out UV light, the manufacturer has already done that for you. In my digital imaging, I use UV filters to protect the front element of expensive lenses. And in this regard, the K&F Concept MCUV filter offers protection for expensive lenses without affecting camera settings or image quality, thus providing cost-effective insurance. If it happens to offer an additional UV filter, that's a bonus. The physical properties of the filter are, without exaggeration, its almost feather-light weight as well as the faceted chinas around the perimeter that provide a good grip. I use a 67mm — 62mm graduation ring for the filter. The thread on the front of the filter provides sufficient depth for the secure attachment of the ring and thus the associated stacked filter. The K&F front lens cap that comes with the filter is equal in quality to, if not improved upon, the OEM lens cap that came with the lens. The clamp levers are easy to use, firmly spring loaded and ensure a firm hold of the filter or lens. As I mentioned at the beginning, I have come to rely on the quality of K&F filters for the reasons the seller claims, but most importantly for me, the high quality of their multi-coated AGC anti-reflective glass. AGC, a Japanese company, is the largest glass manufacturer in the world. Another reason why I have confidence in K&F filters. The filter comes with a lens cap, a lens cap lanyard, a high-quality microfiber lens cleaning cloth and a plastic storage case. K&F Concept offers good value for money and doesn't cut corners.

Excellent Filter, K&F Quality, includes Useful Extras
I’ve been a fan of K&F Filters for some time now, and have come to appreciate the consistency and the quality of the brand. The majority of my lenses live their lives with a K&F Concept UV protective filter on their front element.

I have done enough testing of the transmittance and sharpness of K&F UV filters in the past that I now consider them a trusted brand; I feel confident in their quality. And that’s the point, right? In my opinion, they’re a trusted seller.

I needed a protective filter for a new lens I purchased, a 28mm; the ultra-slim frame of the MCUV filter is why it became of interest to me and the reason I ordered it. And for that reason, it worked out well; it doesn’t infringe on the image area. Therefore, it doesn’t introduce any vignetting.

UV filters have an efficacy when recording on film, even though some emulsions are/were formulated to be insensitive to UV light, but have no added benefit when capturing to a digital sensor. Modern digital sensors, unfiltered, record the entire spectrum of visible light, as well as portions of the spectrums of invisible infrared and ultraviolet light. In order to record only visible light, so photographs appear the way we see the world, digital camera manufacturers install what is called an IR Cut Hot Mirror filter over the digital sensor and its Bayer Array. Digital cameras sold without this filter are referred to as a “Full Spectrum Camera.” If you’re not sure if your camera is full spectrum, it’s not. Which means you don’t need to filter out UV light, it already is.

In the case of my digital imaging, I use UV filters to protect the front element of expensive lenses. And in that respect, the K&F Concept MCUV Filter provides protection for expensive lenses without impacting camera settings or image quality, in effect providing inexpensive insurance.

As I noted at the beginning, I’ve come to rely on the quality of K&F filters, and for the reasons that the seller asserts, but most importantly to me, the high quality of their AGC multi-coated, anti-reflective glass; AGC is a Japanese company and the largest manufacturer of glass in the world. Another reason I have confidence in K&F filters.

The filter is supplied with a lens cap, a lanyard for the lens cap, a high-quality microfiber lens cleaning cloth and a plastic storage case.

very high quality, no loss in recordings
review the K&F Concept K-Series 67MM MCUV Pro UV Filter Slim MC UV Protection Filter Ultraviolet Filter, which was kindly provided to me free of charge by Amazon Vine for testing. My opinion is unaffected by this fact, my review reflects my experience with the product. I will get this filter again for money Why? Because it fits my fleet and I have finally found affordable, high-quality protection for my favorite glasses. I have to place the thread very flatly so that it doesn't get caught (no hectic moves; it can be unscrewed calmly but in a relaxed manner). I work with fast lenses and don't see any serious changes when stopping down. There is still one advantage - the sky is a bit bluer in the picture

Fits, protects and is still cheap
Especially in times of digital photography, you no longer really need a UV filter. However, I personally like to have one installed for protection; even if the "scholars" argue violently and defend themselves because every additional lens robs quality. I am very satisfied with the filter delivered here. The threads fit well and grip well at the same time, so that nothing simply comes loose again. I was skeptical because of the very narrow design of the lens cap. But this still fits perfectly and is held securely. And there are no problems when using a lens hood either. I didn't notice any deterioration in the images either. By the way, the filter was packaged very well and was well protected. Full five stars and, especially given the low price, a clear purchase recommendation.

does what it's supposed to do
In the digital world, a UV filter is just protective glass for the lens or “dust protection” and it does that well. Comes loose in a plastic filter box, including a vacuum-sealed cleaning cloth. The filter is thin and doesn't appear bulky even with multiple filters. I couldn't detect any vignetting, for example in conjunction with a polar filter (18-140mm focal length). It is cleanly processed and can be screwed on easily. It fits and nothing wobbles. I couldn't notice any changes in the image. For 12 euros you can't go wrong. Is cheaper than a scratched lens and can therefore remain on the lens.
