The brightness is excellent. So far I have good focus with the 4x, 10x & 40x lenses. I am waiting for my immersion oil to come before I can review the 100x lens. I am using this microscope for the study of lactobacillus, acetobacter and yeasts.

I comes with a very good carrying and protective case and 3 pair of eyepieces: 10x, 16x and 25x. I wasn't expecting to get all 3 pairs so that was pleasing. The body of the microscope is metal which is also pleasing vs. cheap plastic.

It comes with slides and covers which is nice not to have to make an additional purchase for those items. It does not come with any prepared slides in case you wanted some.

The LED screen does lose clarity through transmission, but perhaps that is to be expected with all microscope screen adapters and cameras for this price range I don't have experience with other microscope still-shot and/or video cameras to know.

I gave only 4 stars for beginner friendliness, because if you aren't familiar with microscopes, the instructions aren't the greatest. However, you can watch the video on their page or do a YouTube search for this brand of microscope, they do have assembly instructions instruction videos which are helpful.

The Kentfaith Digital Camera is a budget-friendly option perfect for beginners and casual photographers. It features a 64 MP resolution for sharp images, and 16x digital zoom. The simple design and user-friendly connection make it easy to use, it also has a reasonably sized screen that is great for framing and reviewing shots. However, the camera struggles in low-light places, and the digital zoom can reduce image quality. Even with these drawbacks, it offers good value for its price, making it a solid choice for those new to photography and other beginners. And the fact that it is already provided with a 32GB SD card is good. Overall a great camera.

Great camera to take on vacations. Takes great pictures, has great zoom. Camera comes with 2 batteries, a memory card and a strap to hold it.

I got this for several of the 52mm lenses I have. It threads on smoothly with no wobble and is made of nice, thick plastic.

One of these lenses is a 18-55mm zoom used on a Nikon DSLR with an APS-C format sensor. The manufacturer’s description says not to use this hood on any lens with a wider field of view than 25mm to avoid vignetting (darkening of the edges of the photo). The crop factor for Nikon APS-C sensors is 1.5x, so at 18mm this lens has a field of view comparable to 27mm on a full frame digital camera or a standard 35mm film camera which is usually used as the reference when describing the field of view of lenses attached to cameras which evolved from 35mm film cameras. Look it up to get a better idea of what I’m talking about if you don’t already know. I’m not that keen on it myself.

Anyway, 27mm is uncomfortably close to 25mm so I ran some test shots of an evenly lit yellowish blank wall with the Nikon to check for any vignetting. The camera viewfinder is not 100% accurate so I had to go with the actual pictures. I found no noticeable vignetting at 18mm as long as the hood was oriented with the two largest “petals” pretty close to 12 and 6 o’clock. I found that to achieve the no-vignette at this position, the hood needed to be screwed in all the way – meaning that the lock ring had to be all the way snugged up to the body of the hood. A partial rotation of the ring to secure the hood with the petals at the correct position was okay, but even a few full “backwards” rotations of the lock ring which prevented the hood being screwed down as far as possible started giving me some vignetting.

Even locked down to the right position to start off there’s a slight rotation of the front of the lens to achieve proper focusing (unless you have one of those expensive lenses that have internal focusing), but the movement is fairly minor and didn’t give me any trouble. You probably will have trouble, though, if you screw the hood onto a filter and then try to shoot at 18mm! If using a zoom lens you could cancel any vignette by just selecting a slightly longer focal length at which to shoot.

Apologies for going on, but the take-away is that you shouldn’t have vignette issues using this hood at 18mm on a APS-C format camera. Canon has a 1.6x crop factor which puts you even farther from the 25mm danger zone. If you have a full frame format digital or a 35mm film camera, you would have major issues at 18mm. So, then don’t use any focal length under the 25mm mentioned. Of course, if you are using a zoom lens, you can use it fine at focal lengths greater than 25mm.

I don’t need to penalize this hood by taking away stars as it seems to be well made and does its job very inexpensively.

Really comfortable, there is plenty of space for zoom lenses and even drones if you want, too bad there is no pocket on the shoulder for cell phone or paper. Satisfied!

I own two old manual only ZOOM NIKKOR lenses adapted to Fuji X, one 80-200/4 and the other 100-300/5.6. Use them for video. K & F are on the cheaper side of the filter market, so they are totally suitable for my purposes and fit the old lenses well. This is a cost effective solution. No complaints about the image quality, although the threaded ring was perhaps more robust and a little better machined, but it is still good enough.

I have other K+F filters for other lenses and they have been exceptional. I ordered this duo for the Sigma APS-C 18-50mm F2.8 zoom I use on my Sony A6000. When I stack both filters together, there are severe black corners. When I zoom from 18 mm to 19.5 mm, they are gone. If I use one filter at a time, no problem. So I decided to leave the polarizer on for the summer and reinstall the UV in the fall. Unless I plan to shoot 20-50mm on a given day. These filter rims are so thin that I don't think there is anything on the market that could improve this situation. I have put K&F on other lenses with no problems. Must be just this Sigma lens design.

The zoom range and aperture are incredible, you no longer have to carry around at least 2 lenses. It's sharp and focuses well* It does have a few downsides though: *On the a7iii it sometimes doesn't focus at the long end of the zoom and only starts to focus when you zoom out slightly and then zoom back in. The other is that the lens cap falls off very easily.
