The images contain additional information, such as temperature, humidity, date and time, and the image number. EXIF data is also included in the JPG. I chose 8 MP for my daylight shots (up to a maximum of 20 MP is possible) and 2 MP (the highest) for night shots. As you can see from the images, this is perfectly sufficient. You can set different modes/functions, whether photos or videos, timelapse. There are also many settings in the menu for daytime or nighttime shots. Sound recordings, timelapse, image quality in megapixels, language, time and its formats, etc. You can also use it to view photos and videos for quick review.

Camera shoots up to an incredible 40 MP. I was surprised to find it comes with EVERYTHING needed to use - including a 64GB SD card and alkaline batteries. It has a color screen inside the unit that can be used to customize the setup and view photos/videos right on the device. The case is sturdy, has a good quality gasket, and closes securely. It can be mounted with the included tree strap, or a little bracket with wood screw threads on one end; the other end screws into the base of the camera. It does NOT support wireless data transmission. You either pull the SD card and use that, or connect via an included USB cable.

I've had the backpack for almost 12 months now. I was exactly looking for one that could carry my 15" laptop + full camera gear (gimbal, tripod, body, 3 lenses, etc.). The workmanship and material is also great almost everywhere, but after less than 2 months I can carry both on the outside they tear easily, which no longer guarantees the transport of smaller objects, such as a power bank, as they can fall. got Face Detection. got Smile Detection. can use 20 MP, 7 MP wide, 5 MP. did not arrive with usb 2 charger for micro usb to charge batteries in a battery charger. arrived with single battery charger. 700 capacity. arrived with usb 2.0 to micro usb cable to power battery charger. Takes 5 MP photos. used digital camera on firework display

Price was right, for an up to 48-mp, for large size prints! Takes up to 128-kb mini-memory card, in the adapter for lengthy video shoots! Good enough, for my purposes!

All in all a very good camera for the price!

The image quality on the display is quite good, the sensor of course not 8 megapixels but maybe 2 MP like all the others and a 1000x magnification is just an illusion. The magnification on the display itself can enlarge the image up to four times. I can't say what the optical magnification is, because I don't know how to calculate it.On the PC, the camera only shows 1.3MP and the image quality isn't that great.The worst thing about the microscope, however, is the stand itself, because the is more of a nodding dog. After plugging them into each other, you can keep moving them back and forth. The turning knob for focusing is the next disaster. This is very stiff and therefore almost unusable. But that could also be an error in my copy.
