I bought this foldable solar panel for it's compact size. It still packs a punch! I'm using the Jackery 300 and I'm pulling 65 watts on a clear day. 50 watts with indirect/ cloudy sunlight. This product has definitely exceeded expectations!

And $ for $ this hands downs outperforms my 200 watt panel. Choose wisely if you really want you're solar panels because of it's dollar values. And this ain't my first rodeo with this blamblastted machinery's.

I use two of the cameras. One in the garden and one at the front of the house. I chose the camera because I didn't want to drill any holes in the house or put extra sockets. Therefore, the camera with battery operation and solar panel is a good alternative. If you position the camera well for yourself (e.g. near a window on the upper floor), you can easily attach a power bank to it in an emergency.

Furthermore, I wanted a camera that does not necessarily need a cloud, but saves everything on an SD card. If someone wants to steal a camera, they do so. If it's high enough, this isn't impossible, but it's a bit more difficult. Therefore, I personally see storage on an SD card as problem-free.

The camera delivers good pictures and is easy to attach. The setup is also very easy. Install the app on your smartphone, switch on the camera, scan the QR code and off you go to the WLAN. That's it already. For the first start-up I would use the smartphone app, later you can also install the Windows software.

A password is assigned to the camera during setup. You should make sure that your password is secure. So at least 8 characters (better more), consisting of numbers, upper and lower case letters and special characters.

Since the camera has been hanging in the garden for a while, I can already say something about the solar panel. I didn't preload the camera on the back. This was attached immediately when the battery level was 70%. The solar panel charged the battery to 100% in a week. The sun doesn't have to shine directly on the solar panel, it's enough that it's just there. On the front of the house, I don't have direct sunlight. A house is just too far ahead for that. Despite this, the battery is kept at 100% in the morning hours.

What I would like for this camera from K&F CONCEPT in the future:

- The possibility of connecting to a server or to the disk station
- A solar panel with good weak light behavior for retrofitting would make the winter days a little better. I have no experience in winter operation but I can imagine that it will be a little more difficult to charge the battery in winter.

So far, the K&F camera has received a clear buy recommendation from me.

However, the settings also play an important role here. Motion detection and a schedule for when the camera is "on" help save battery. When you are at home, the PIR does not necessarily have to be switched on. If you leave the house for a longer period of time, you can quickly change the schedule with just a few clicks.

Addendum:
It's autumn now and so far I'm still happy with the cameras. I had to recharge the camera on the front once with a power bank (there is a lot of movement at the front door in particular).

Since I placed the camera very well, I got to it very quickly and it was charged to 100% again within half an hour. The weak light behavior of the solar panel is also better than expected.

The support is also very good. The second camera was defective from now on and a new one was sent to me without much back and forth writing. The new one was defective when it arrived and a third one was shipped immediately. Everything uncomplicated and fast. The shipping costs for the return were refunded immediately after a short request.

I am super happy with this panel. Several features that I like:

- Comes with a storage/carry case
- Comes with a ton of adaptors (including MC4) to connect to a variety of devices
- The panel "legs" are pull and snap, I can have the panel in the storage case to fully setup in about a minute.
- The panel is high efficiency. Meaning small physical size for the watts produced

This panel would be perfect for camping and other outdoor activities, and RV, or just at home. The side of the panel has usb, usb C, and a DC output port. The DC output can plug into a variety of other plug sizes.

As you can see in my photos and video, I have it setup to charge a portable power bank. It takes me about 5 hours to charge the bank, which then gives me about 300 watt hours of use (I can use a 300 watt device for one hour, a 100 watt device for 3 hours, etc.). The nice thing about my setup is the battery bank allows me to use it while also charging. I did a full days work off my laptop and external monitor with the panel and battery combo. Now you can "work from home" in the woods! As long as you can get data service...

You don't have to use a battery pack, I just like to use it so I can store the generated power for later.

Overall, I would highly recommend!

I got this 100 watt solar panel for an amazing price after coupon. My 360 watt power station has an mppt limit of 60 watts. When I plug it into an outlet with the power cord it comes with I get around 55 watts. With this solar panel I get 58.8. It's actually charging faster than my regular outlet! I went from 20% to 100% in about three hours. I'm thrilled with that! It's such great quality. It's super sturdy and stands up great. I angled it the best I could into the sun and it did great. I'm excited to try charging my iphone and ipad. It folds up perfectly into a briefcase style carry and has a great handle to carry it with. If you're even considering this, don't hesitate, after the coupon and additional discount at checkout, it's by far the cheapest 100w solar panel with this high of quality I could find. One of my better purchases!

Very pleased

This is a very well made panel. It is molded together and not stitched together with fabric. This will take some abuse, I have 2 other 100watt solar panels made similar to this one and they've been drug around for 3 years without looking tattered.

The solar side is highly textured with some thick type of plastic, then those are molded to a substrate and the back is a molded on durable synthetic material.

I've only used this 4 days and only one of those 4 days was it clear enough, and we were sedentary long enough, to angle it the best I could to follow the sun. During that time I had it connected to a portable power station to give it a charge. This power station shows the input it's receiving. The highest it went was 20 watt input from this 30 watt panel.
I'm not saying it's not 30 watt capable, but it's a real challenge to angle this folding panel perfectly to pull the 30 watts.
If you'll be hanging this from a tree, backpack, car, or maybe flat on the ground, over a boulder for short stents, instead of being sedentary and focusing on angling the panel perfectly every 30 minutes to follow the sun, you can expect an average of 5-10 watts output while mobile.
This isn't a complaint any solar panel would require this to pull its full capacity.

We did use it to top off phones and small camera equipment, enough to get us by throughout our trip.

I'm pleased with it and glad to see a well built folding panel that endures outdoor activities in a small package.

This doesn't come with any cords, you'll need to provide your own.

I used the solar panel to charge my Progeny 300 watt solar generator. On a nice sunny day I was charging at about 33-35 watts. That mY not sound like a lot but when plugged into AC outlet to charge, the Progeny only inputs 35 watts. The panel is very compact and comes with plenty of cables including a multi-cable with lightning, USB-C and mini USB. The panel has two USB outlets so you can charge your phone or tablet right from the panel. So far very happy with product.
