A favorite!
A great filter for light neutral diffusion. I got a #1, but since it doesn't worsen the issue very quickly, I get a #2 as well.

Adds magic without getting close to the sticky area
Modern lenses are extremely sharp and exceptionally corrected. As a result, they usually have a complete lack of character. This simple filter adds a touch of old-school magic and keeps things sharp. At the moment it fount its pretty much permanent home on my Fuji X100V.
PS: I hear you ask, can't we just add an effect X in the post? Sure we can. But an optical filter doesn't care about the dynamic range of your sensor because it doesn't have one of its own. When a highlight is blown it has no color information, so all effects in post treat it as pure white. But the optical filter doesn't care about the brightness - it will give your highlight a smooth fading halo, and even if your camera sensor perceives the "epicenter" as 255/255/255, the glow will retain color information (which in turn helps Photoshop when highlighting helps).

not bad but...
overpriced for what it does. there is a video on youtube showing how to make a mica filter out of a cheap uv filter and hairspray. I've tried it, works perfectly.

Good filter but not perfect
Finding a diffusion filter is pretty rare these days. Luckily, K&F Concept does more and with perhaps far too many variations.
The Glimmer Glass is one of them.
The yield is really optimal. The image really doesn't lose anything in terms of sharpness and the glow effect is very pleasant and not so intrusive in 1.
I also took version 3 because what I was doing required more penetration. But that is a very personal taste and for this reason K&F offers different gradations.
I have encountered a single issue with these filters (even the 3). Create reflections with light sources. So when you photograph a light source directly, it's easy for you to see its reflection around the frame.

Excellent filter
It softens the shapes in a pleasant way and really lets the lights bloom at night. It's not that cinematic, but it's very, very good.

super filter
Very good filter that does not attract too much attention like the Black Pro Mist whose personality is way too strong for my taste. As for this article, it is included in the proposal. The filter is of excellent manufacturing quality. I was very surprised considering I used the Cinebloom a while back, which is a mid-range filter.

Very nice diffusion, more subtle than a black promist.
Very nice diffusion indeed. More subtle than a black celebrity. I think there's that kind of movie halation and doesn't lift blacks up as much as black Celebrity does. Also maintains image sharpness well but takes away digital sharpness well. The only negative is the funky flare, when you shoot straight into a light source it really starts to shimmer. But then again, you should be using some sort of matte box with those filters anyway, so user error in a way. Now I wish they had offered the 1/2 strength for the same cheap price... Wink wink K&F Concept ;)

I love this filter and unlike Pro Mist
I was curious about it and how different it is from the Pro Mist. Was pleasantly surprised at how it looked. Doesn't "bloom" as much as my 1/4 Pro Mist and is therefore more subtle.

FAQs

It is original fine. packaging and everything. Also had USA on mine if I remember correctly. They probably changed it on the production line while the photos will stay there forever.

Compared to Black Pro Mist I assume? So mica glass indicates the strength with 1, 3 and 5. Black Pro Mist is 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2, 3. From my personal experience I would say Glimmer Glass 1 is between 1/8 and 1/4 strength. But closer to 1/4 when it comes to spread. I hope it helped :)
