Common search errors
Never swing the search coil like a pendulum. Raising the search coil during or at the end of a scan can cause erroneous readings.

Fun to use

I'm a metal beginner, but with this metal, I've simplified my life a lot, it's easy to use, stable in research, just adjust the sensitivity according to the terrain. Metal detector for budding treasure hunters! Detect well!
Bought for a child, instead of a simpler model that detected poorly and randomly, this one detects well, even covered objects.
Edit of December 30, 2022: the detector was tested by a 7-year-old child: this product is well suited for children of this age. The dial seems complex, but our little treasure hunter quickly learned how it works: there are 3 buttons: one to switch on/off and control the volume of the detection beeps; one to select the type of metals being searched (by default we have set to “all metals”) and one for detection sensitivity. Note that we find it quite sensitive even at the minimum setting.
I was worried that the child would have trouble using it for a long time because of the weight but that is not the case.
In use, the child had a lot of fun looking for “treasures” in the gardens: we did not find anything of value (rusty nails, a piece of fork...) but we get caught up in the game because it is exciting when the device detects and sounds and then, when the metal object has been found, we wonder how it got there...
A good pastime.
